you know the Trop isnt great BUT it also isnt as bad as it can look on tv. Also anyone thinking sitting outside in Florida during the summer months has never been to Florida. Hopefully the new stadium will let in more light and show off the area better.
Beautiful ballpark. Looks like a great gameday experience. Refreshing to see something other than another Camden Yards clone. The day the Rays move or get another ballpark, will be a sad day.
The weather is Florida in the summer is very hot and humid with daily thunder storms the norm so if you played outside you would have so many canceled and delayed games. Furthermore, it is very unpleasant to sit in 100% humidity and 93 degrees heat so a dome stadium is the only way to go in Florida just ask the Marlins.
It's like a split between the metrodome and the astrodome. What's so bad about it??? It's got a good "wrap" on it. It's a dome for Pete's sake. No balls sweat in the summer??? Great idea
I know right? I'd rather watch baseball in a not particularly nice air conditioned stadium, than watch baseball in a nice outdoor in the 90 degree heat stadium.
Tips to get good seats at Tropicana field. Buy a cheap seat in the upper decks Go into an expensive seat that is empty because no one watches the rays play Enjoy a good game
It would be so much nicer if there stadium was in downtown tampa like where the lightning play. It's florida man! There should be no roof. Florida should have some of the nicest stadiums, but clearly it doesnt

Ugh what an ugly ball park. Concessions concourse looks like the back passages behind the shops in a mall painted to look like a sad circus. A beautiful sunny day spent watching baseball inside there just looks depressing.
Obviously you don’t live in Florida, one moment it’s sunny the next it can be raining........ not only that but it gets up to 115 degrees, who in their right mind wants to sit in the heat for 3-4 hours? I’ll keep the trop I love it
The Oakland Coliseum isn't that bad. Unlike AT&T Park across the Bay, you usually have room to stretch out in the Coliseum. And the hard-core fans are pretty enthusiastic.
And the Rays continue to go nowhere because of this sad ballpark, lol. I swear their not gonna learn until attendance is so low, that they have payroll problems and cant afford anybody. TEAR IT DOWN, this ballpark is a sad baseball field i'm sorry it just is.
great video. It really captures the experience of visiting the stadium
Wonderful day outside lets go indoors
NASCARRacingFan2015 pretty sure you’ve never been outside in Florida summer at 1:00....
Have you EVER been to Florida? IT. GETS. HOT.

The Trop is awesome.
I always thought it was like the superdome and astrodome had a kid together diagnosed with Down syndrome
I know right? I'd rather watch baseball in a not particularly nice air conditioned stadium, than watch baseball in a nice outdoor in the 90 degree heat stadium.
Tropicana is now the ONLY MLB stadium to have never hosted the All Star Game........that should tell you something.
ClearSky Productions haha true 😂
The current Yankee Stadium has never hosted an All Star Game either.
concourses could use some work, but I think the dome looks awesome. would love to visit here someday.
Green And Orange Line Productions
ur really amazin fuck dis stadium and fuck ther gay fans. hahahahaha
It’s a shitty stadium cool but shitty
The concourses look like a sad kids’ arcade.
I get to go there soon can't wait
Welcome to the Spongebob Center, DAHAAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHA
Tips to get good seats at Tropicana field.
Buy a cheap seat in the upper decks
Go into an expensive seat that is empty because no one watches the rays play
Enjoy a good game
Lower concourse looks like a cross between a hockey arena and shopping mall.
Just Me The Lightning used to play in there
This is the Florida man of MLB ballparks 😂
Those concorses are so narrow and small!
Looks like an 90s mall that's a shell of its former self. I like the dome itself though. Shame about the catwalks.
looks like a flea market
Jonny_ V yes!
All the carnival theming on the lower level is gone.
It would be so much nicer if there stadium was in downtown tampa like where the lightning play. It's florida man! There should be no roof. Florida should have some of the nicest stadiums, but clearly it doesnt
A G If there was no roof on the stadium a lot of games would be delayed/cancelled because of Florida’s frequent thunderstorms.
It gets 200 degrees in the summer for Florida. I would never attend another rays game if it wasn't a dome anymore
Beautiful day for baseball, let’s play in this dome.
Kevin Frey dome? More like dump
Kevin Frey you obviously never been to Florida.
There was actually a little crowd that showed up. But still dumpy
I wonder why they don't play outdoors in the Florida sunshine. But I would still go to a game regardless.

jusa nonato Right. I’d hate to be sitting outside for a baseball game in the summer.
Haven't been to a bad park toll you've been to the Olympic stadium in Montreal.
Which is why the Expos are in Washington
I'm old enough to have gone to games at Jarry Park. I loved it. It was so small that every seat was great.
Looks like your walking into an aquarium
Playing baseball indoors doesn't work. I've gone to games in the Kingdome and Chase Field, and the atmosphere just wasn't right.
fixpacifica have fun in the heat and rain then LOL yeah no we have a done for a reason
Lol that's weird. Chase field is legit and it has the moveable roof
A team that have successfully winning since 2008 and fans still don't care.
They just had three straight losing seasons and finished in last place this year.
Tj Samson marlins fans don't care eather
I want one of those hats.
looks like a fun house
Without the fun
the turf look so wet
go tribe!!! :D

The Trop is cute! I like it.
You say that until you are watching baseball in air conditioning.

Good for wwe
When baseball season srat for legune team
This place is worse than the Oakland Coliseum
Oakland is Globe Life Park compared to this concrete circus tent.

ThatBoy Marcus marlins too they have low attendance
i agree wut a shit stadium we shuld tear it down with no remorse or regret. fuk dis stadium.
The Rays have been trying to get a new stadium since they first became a team.
Not even trying to be a hater... This stadium sucks. Looks like a nick Jr television set.
Gross stadium, gross fans
At least they're not zipper heads.
hugo long LOLOLOL
