Worst Airport experience. Marrakech AirPort Morocco 🇲🇦

We recently visited Marrakesh, and upon arrival at Marrakesh airport, we had a bad experience with immigration officers. we booked our apartment through Airbnb and email sent to us the address of the apartment. we got the immigration desk and the immigration guy asked for the booking and we showed them the email when they looked at the email they said where is the address. we showed them the address in the confirmation email, but they kept insisting that that’s not the address and we need the address. We said that’s the only address we have and that’s what we usually get when we booked through Airbnb and we have never had problems elsewhere. They were also becoming very aggressive and rude and refusing to let us go unless we provide them the address. after a lot of arguing, they decided to let us go.

So sorry, you had to go through that. I’ve never used AirBnB so I can’t relate. Don’t let it ruin your trip.

Departures from Marrakesh airport - arrive 3 hours in advance! I lost count of how many security checks there are and it took 2h 30 to get through them all. Then - be sure you're getting on the right plane due to last minute boarding gate switches. Mayhem! Or I just got there on a bad day?

Sounds like Egyptian staff. They unnecessarily create a fuss when there is none. Sometimes they take your passports and come back after 30 minutes, God knows doing what for a BLOODY INTERNAL flight

Next part should have been the Airport taxi drivers rip off prices, even though the price list clearly says 50 dirhams, outside the airport
