How well I remember listening with my family to the Auto-Lite Theater radio and, later, TV presentations. For me, nothing in the way of entertainment surpasses the experience.
Suspense (TV Series), Man in the House, aired 29 November 1949, USA, CBS Television Network. Alan Baxter, The Intruder; Kim Hunter as Emily; Ruth McDevitt as Mrs. Barret; Boyd Crawford as Ted; Lores Lambert, Teen in Library; Rex Marshall as Himself - Announcer; Joan Lawrence, Teen in Library; Jay Eastman, Teen in Library.
The organ music performed by Hank Sylvern, is brilliant! He is (was?) a master at his instrument. So entertaining... I searched for anything else by him but I only found one Christmas album.
Hello, Miss Emily soon to appear in Kolchak, the Night Stalker. Edit the actress playing the mother wil play Miss Emily. The daugter's character is named Emily.
I am surprised Suspense producer didn't get lot of angry letters from Mother- in- Laws! That's vicious Stereotype in radio/tv shows in 1950, early 60s. Remember Ralph Cramdon's Mother in law (The Honeymooner's)😅😂

5 minutes in and I'm thinking the person on the organ is having a great time🎹
Too funny 😂
Ah, yes, that master of the glassido on the organ was named Hank Sylvern!! Truly skilled beyond human comprehension!

Kim Hunter! Wonderful. -edit- Well, how that it's over there is nothing better to be said about it.

These are all so corny now & i as a kid would eat them up. I love the simplicity. Ty.
As a kid, you wouldn't have understood a thing.

Man that music is a horror of its own
That was based on the radio show. They did the same music on the radio show too that's why remember it was early tv. And it was live.
That lady had to deal with a selfish criminal and a more selfish POS husband.
The organ in the back ground KILLS the ears !
I can’t take the organ music.
The Organist is AMAZING 🍕
