"Heaven I Know” from the upcoming album 'Reservoir' out August 25, 2017 on Jagjaguwar Pre-order ‘Reservoir’: gordi.lnk.to/r... Lyric video by Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir
I'm so sorry for your loss, my Mom too passed in January 2022. She was also a big fan of the Walking Dead. Maybe our Moms are watching the next season in heaven!
I adored how gentle he was with Lydia! Daryl use to be my absolute fave character but since Negan came into the picture it's hard for me to say that Daryl is usually my 2nd favorite now lol.
I heard this amazing song for the first time tonight watching The Walking Dead. As soon as I heard it, I had to look it up and listen…such a beautiful song!!
Walking Dead brought me here. This song is Stunning! Riveting! It rocked me to my core. Fits the mood Perfectly! Of this series, as well as this pandemic. #mysoulcries #heaveniknow 💃🏾🎶
I absolutely LOVE the 123 background. It adds dynamic to an ALREADY powerful song! I don't think people are understanding it from an artistic point of view. It's what lured me into the song in the first place.
I love when your favourite show introduces you to your next new favourite music artist. Both this version, and the acoustic version are beautiful. On repeat
I love that they used this song twice in the same episode of The Walking Dead season 10. Like the director loved the song so much that he made them use it twice in wholesome scenes of teamwork and fighting together as one. Surviving a world long gone.
walking dead brought me here in goosebumps. but I'm gonna speak of how brilliant the implemented musical idea is that the verbalization of rhythmic triplets to emphasize the three notes playing in the time of two over and over again in a 5/4-sounded like time signature (but actually it's 4/4 - really well played to fool the ears) can brings such intensed mood, quite sombre yet with a little playful feel. Really love what the lyrics talking about and the whole song is just ❣️
And we better figure it out fast cuz we’re in sinking sand. Other nations are rising against us and our heads are not even telling us. Stay prayerful and pay strong attention. Spread love !
i remember hearing this in twd and hearing this after more than a year just feels so damn nostalgic cuz i really loved this song n i didn't want the show to end
Lyric Wear me, wear me out It's all strung out You found what carried you Fall out, everyone fall out Get lost in this town Some road that's getting worn At our feet, at our feet now 'Cause I got older And we got tired Heaven I know that we tried Heaven I know Heaven I know Yeah I got older And we got tired Heaven I know that we tried Heaven I know Heaven I know Heaven I know that we tried Heaven I know Heaven I know Longer still, withstanding the most I will Still be the most I can Drying out, dragging down now 'Cause I got older And we got tired Heaven I know that we tried Heaven I know Heaven I know Heaven I know that we tried Heaven I know Heaven I know Heaven I know that we tried Ascending, ascending now Heaven I know Heaven I know that we tried Ascending, ascending now Heaven I know Heaven I know that we tried Heaven I know Heaven I know Heaven I know that we tried Heaven I know Oh, heaven I know Heaven I know that we tried One, two, three One, two, three One, two, three One, two, three One, two
You can feel the staleness in the characters journey now since season 1. They are so tired and have lost so much, everything is so different and the biggest wounds are so far behind them yet more keep coming. Its that feeling of realizing its been years now since this event happened or didn't happen or if you've lost someone due to death, etc. Telling yourself they would be x years old now, or if you did things differently you wouldnt be tasting the same stale air, waking to crushing depression and extisential crisis...all this with the realization of constantly passing time; it just sinks the wound in salt a bit more. The moments where things are so quiet so all repressed emotions and memories can now attack you and make you feel hollow and without momentum. I can relate in my personal life from my first time watching these characters grow at 22 and now 31. Things are so different now, with constant chaos in the world and the darkness that has befallen this country. I can relate to the question these characters constantly probably ask "is this all there is?".
Thank you! I have severe chronic PTSD. Simply starting with the 123, 123, 123, 123, -ONE-TWO is brilliant. If I concentrate on the beat, I can stand the pain. So tired of losing vets to suicide...
No, Oats In The Water by Ben Howard was played twice in the episode where the virus took hold in the prison (I forget exactly which one, possibly called Isolation or something like that?) Edit: it's season 4, episode 5 'Internment'
Standing on the edge of the world... Starring through the smoke amid the chaos of change that we bring upon this beautiful land. One can only ponder if we are living a righteous life?
I'm one of the biggest twd around and I am not a fan of music like this but this song just fit in that episode like a glove with the idiots bullying Lydia and Luke going to see Jules, Daryl scrubbing the crap they wrote on Lydia's door it all fit so perfectly this was a awesome episode, hats off to Angela Kang for finding the perfect song.
@@dankiuswankius It dont come out until Sunday. Someone already had access to the opening early and he uploads full episodes for a limited time. 90% of people didnt even see the episode yet
Saw this at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Isn't it great to find a song that blows you away when you hear it live for the first time? Even more powerful than discovering music at home.
It's something because I was about to send this song to my son when I got a message from him. He was apologizing for everything in life he's messed up. I asked him where he was & the answer I got back terrified me. He said I'm waiting for the next train. I tried to talk with him & reassure him that things will be fine & we will continue to take small steps one day at a time. I am panicked & scared out of my mind. I love my baby, he's 28 & will always be my baby. I can only wait & pray 🙏 sometimes a mothers love just isn't enough. I pray my family in heaven are pulling some mighty big strings to guide him right now. He's half my heart & I love him as much as all the stars in the universe & back a bazillion times. Be ok, 🙏 I love ❤️ you
The song is perfect for the moment that we're going through right now the depressions of the 20s the most unbelievable time in the history of Our Lives

Probably not. If you go by the comics, Rick dies in the end and Carl is left to carry on the story with the next generation. Judith has replaced Carl, so Daryl will die in the end and probably Rick too, either in the movies or tv series.
sending out good energy to everyone in the world that's trying to make a difference for the good of all humanity this is the future and this is the time now to make the difference for all
The first few seasons of TWD had the greatest music in them and then it seemed to fade around seasons 5 and 6 then Angela Kang did this and absolutely killed the whisperers arc it couldn't have been done better unless Rick was still around but she did a great job working the arc without the main character from the comic

Lyric
Wear me, wear me out
It's all strung out
You found what carried you
Fall out, everyone fall out
Get lost in this town
Some road that's getting worn
At our feet, at our feet now
'Cause I got older
And we got tired
Heaven I know that we tried
Heaven I know
Heaven I know
Yeah I got older
And we got tired
Heaven I know that we tried
Heaven I know
Heaven I know
Heaven I know that we tried
Heaven I know
Heaven I know
Longer still, withstanding the most I will
Still be the most I can
Drying out, dragging down now
'Cause I got older
And we got tired
Heaven I know that we tried
Heaven I know
Heaven I know
Heaven I know that we tried
Heaven I know
Heaven I know
Heaven I know that we tried
Ascending, ascending now
Heaven I know
Heaven I know that we tried
Ascending, ascending now
Heaven I know
Heaven I know that we tried
Heaven I know
Heaven I know
Heaven I know that we tried
Heaven I know
Oh, heaven I know
