Praying for Rodney and family. Thanks for always showing us the best places and giving us some laughs!
Our pleasure!
I love a place of that stature. Nothing better than good country cooking. Always enjoy the videos
@@ricksandlin4446 thank you!
$21.95. Holy cow, beam me there, Scotty. Dang, looks sooo good. Thanks for eating so much. Karla in Cali.
It was like stealing.
The lighthouse has amazing food!

The old mam was legendary ❤. Great video
@@infectedmonkey4827 thank you. Sam stole the show.
Yes! This is the best Restaurant in the whole state of KY. I love this place!
@@maryjoognibene6218 I agree wholeheartedly..
Another great one Goodall! keep them coming
Will do. Thank you!
Love that place! It's such a historic town. It's also a wonderful trip through the back roads of Ky. The first time I went the ruins of the hotel were still there. It has since burned down, but must have been a nice place to visit and get the "cure" back in the day. I do think they lost money on you, but luckily will get more customers. 😊
lol!! I could have eaten lots more but I didn’t want to hurt em’. Lol
Hello gents. Great to see the National Treasure. Looks like great country cookin. Thanks! My condolences to Rodney and his family
Thank you!
Yum, Yum..I enjoyed this so..

Thank you so much 😀
Love some red eye gravy too Coach! Fried apples is good as a desert but you got that butterscotch pie looked good
Coconut was better.
Gotta love Sam, he's a character and he's honest. Love it. He makes the video so entertaining.
@@RealArtfulDodger agreed.
The lazy Susan table was there with the Porter family. Kathleen Porter was my great aunt.
Cool table.
Loved this! Grew up eating here- great memories!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I think I’m going to have to go there soon. This video made me hungry!
Hope you enjoy!
Another excellent video. Man you make me hungry every time you eat.😂 you definitely do great content. I love all your videos Brother.
Thank you so much 😁
Guys...what a fun one right there....to coin Andy Griffith...thats the time. Tell National Treasure leave the rest of that Franklin for the girls....
He did. 30% tip. Ge might be grumpy but he ain’t cheap. Also paid for mine
Need to start bringing that Frisch's tartar sauce with ya!!!
Awesome video!!
Thank you.
Barry the Lighthouse Resturant food looks spectacular. Was nice to see Natational Treasure once again. Another great video sir.
Glad you enjoyed it
That's a Chris-Chan Sonichu necklace 😂
West from Virginia had me dying, I genuinely scared everyone else in my house I was laughing so hard😂😂
Yeah, I’m sure they got a big laugh out of that.
Oh My... That food looked goood! Only disappointing part was the packaged tarter sauce. You'd think a place like that would make it fresh, but that's nit-picking ain't it? lol
Lol
Great video loved the home grown tomatoes to begin with also loved the red eye gravy my grandmother made it for us with homemade biscuits made with coffee and ham grease loved Sam the man
We had a lot of fun there.

lol. Those to go biscuits and gravy didn’t last long.
Looks like you had a blast at this restaurant. I wish I could as much as you eat. You cleaned up. That country ham didn't stand a chance.

He’s always grumpy. lol!!
Nice review! My brother lives in Glasgow. Next time I go visit him I’ll have to see if we can go to the Lighthouse.
Go for it!
Alright, who gave this man a ChrisChan medallion? 😭

@@goodallscountrykitchen love the content as always, we’re wanting to trying McGees because of your review! Looks mouthwatering 🤤😋
@@rapidbeta4 I advise to not go during peak hours. They have been overwhelmed since the video came out.
ate there a many atime,, those buttered taters are the bomb, if you dont like the lighhouse you dont like home cookin
Amen!
My husband and I love your videos! We’ve lived in New Albany, IN all our lives and think you’d really enjoy Pints and Union here in New Albany. It’s our favorite restaurant and a real hidden gem. Highly recommend the smash burger, their wings (only available certain days) and they have the best Indian food!
Thanks for sharing!!
Much love from Lexington brother
Barry great review and delicious food. For the viewers reading the comments any substitute of the AYCE vegetables will result in an extra charge. I don't know if cornbread is an extra charge . I plan on going in about 2 weeks and just talked to the owner. Reservations are recommended for parties of 4 or more. Btw the restaurant is closer to me than you ( about 70 miles away from me)
Thanks for the info!
You should check out Papi's Tacos and More. My wife took me there for my birthday yesterday because I wanted some Mexican. It may have been the best Mexican I’ve had since our daughter and son in law lived in CA and we would get some there. I think there are 3 locations. We went to Radcliff. (I even left shrapnel on my table)
@@NIPITINTHEBUD I’ll look into it. Thanks for the tip!
Hi Goodall!! My dad and I love watching your videos and I have a question. So my mom works at this place in butcher town called bourbon barrel foods. We would love if you could come and get a soy sauce tasting! Keep up the great work!!! We love you!
Thank you so much for reaching out. Is it a restaurant?
@@goodallscountrykitchen i wouldn’t say completely but they do serve some food

I had country ham for the first time the other day and was thinking “this would make one hell of a bacon cheeseburger”
Hope you are having a good fun weekend

Great video, if I’m ever in that area I want to try that restaurant. Thanks for sharing the history of the area as well. I guess
Medicine water should taste bad so you know it’s healthy.
Thank you!
My son was baptized in Sulfur Well Creek right across the from where yall where. The Lighthouse is a great place to eat. Did you all sign the guestbook they have out front? The men that talked about the BBQ Hut on Reynolds Rd in Glasgow is right, its a must try! Always happy to see the "Legend" We were cracking up watching you two, this was one of my favorite videos you have done. Jesse James and a couple of presidents stayed to the hotel- lots of history.
Thanks for the added history. Love that place
At the hotel not to
Sir. Yes.sir. that's what I'm talking about....Good old country cooking, at its best..the establishment, is busy...I like that.... that shows a lot.....massive respect for that...take care, big respect to the family....
You got that right
Next time you're in Lexington, you need to try Georgetown Cafe on Georgetown Rd. One of, if not my favorite spots in the city! Fair prices and huge quantities of food. Thank me Later! Lol
Thanks for the tip. I’ll look into it.
You lied, you said you were going to eat the catfish naked, but you were fully dressed when you ate it! Good thing too, because we really didn't want to see that! 😂😂
Fun video guys. My wife and I will have to go try the Lighthouse Restaurant; we live only 30 minutes away.
Y'all gotta go try out The Eatin' Table, 1272 Gamaliel Road, Tompkinsville, KY. They have a Breakfast challenge with your name on it. If you eat the whole thing, you get it for free.

I’ll be looking into that. Thanks.

Another great video! I’m from Greensburg so my dad’s side used to always go there, I love that place! The country ham & biscuits alone could keep me fed for months. Just curious, have u ever tried the Lighthouse Restaurant in Taylorsville??

dang good to see National Treasure…food looked great but my favorite part was the tomato..I could taste it…can’t buy a good tomato in the store…home grown or farm stand…someday do a two fer down there…Cindy’s Center Grill for breakfast and Pa-Daddy’s Backyard Bar-B-Q (pork shoulder) for lunch.
thank you Coach!
let’s go UK…beat Georgia!
Great game.
As soon as I saw that necklace... I felt so sorry for Barry (look up ChrisChan if you don't know). But it's ok, it shows how good of a guy he is, he wanted to thank a fan and wore it even though it's hideous. Of course he had no idea what he was stepping into. Who knows, maybe it could cause this video and channel to go more viral by accident.
I’ll do research the next time somebody sends me gifts to be worn.
I luv tomotes i would eat two plates of them and two plates of fish😅😅😅😅
The food looks wonderful, and I so appreciate Jesus's picture being the light of the world
Amen!
Lol! My Daddy LOVED sulphur water. It smells like rotten eggs. He was from Pineville,, Ky and used to take empty milk jugs when we'd visit there and fill them with that water.. There's a sulfur spring somewhere in Pine Mountain State Park he used to get it from.
Yuck!!!
Looks like down home country cooking for sure.
Yes!
How far away from Louisville? WOW, all looks fabulous!

Goodall, that necklace is a troll
It's related to a Internet thing, Chris chan makes those medallions and they are from West Virginia. People like to mess around with that character, watch out. Someone's pulling your leg, their nephew didn't make it.
I really hope and pray he sees these comments. I've actually dealt firsthand with the person behind that symbol and they are deranged and evil.
I tried to post and warn him and some of my comments got deleted. Someone is truly evil trying to screw with him

I’m with the treasurer when it comes to tomatoes. I don’t mind them cooking stuff, but I will not eat them like that.
It’s dam near impossible to find a good sweet tasting homegrown tomato anymore. Even the Amish don’t grow good tomatoes. They’ve all been crossbred so much and have ruined the strain of tomato. Please let us know if you know anyone with good seedlings and seeds that are true homegrown tomatoes with the taste. They’re all hot house, even Amish tht they tout so much. All the roadside tomatoes people sell are not homegrown either, they buy them off a truck which is why they all look the exact same. Same color, same size, same bland taste. Look for tomatoes from a country farmer, if you’re lucky enough to find them, where all the tomatoes have a different look and size etc
Does the national treasure tip well?

Unfortunately the comments about the necklace are true Barry. It's sick and sad some people have nothing better to do than try to embarrass someone. Hate to say it but it might be a good idea to take this one down.
Im sure they got a big belly laugh, but I’m not taking down the video. That’s probably what their intention was and I’m not giving them that satisfaction.
