Just found your channel this was so beautifully shot and relaxing to watch. That drone footage too WOW. Now I really want to visit some day 💜 We have a young family though so probably wouldn’t be suitable yet…gonna show my husband this vlog later and watch some more of your videos 😍
I’m glad you enjoyed it and so happy you stumbled upon my channel. I hope you enjoy the other videos and hope one day you get to witness the lavender fields with your family!
Merci Paul et Sam pour le partage des magnifiques champs de lavande. Un bonus pour partager l'histoire d'Ugos. Les champs de lavande sont sur ma bucket list à voir la prochaine fois que je serai en France.
The lavender fields are breathtaking.... so beautiful.... and Paul should be a videographer because his skills are next level good....have a great week and thanks for the vlog!
Wow so beautiful! I love all the photos. How amazing to have a photographer husband. The drone footage was heavenly! I found you from the comment section of Fernibops video, and so I'm glad I did. 😃
Bravo, always impressive to see this marvelous lavender fields and to meet these local people who are the age-old guardians and extenders of this ancestral knowledge by continuing to bring it to life.
You two complement one another so well, I wish you nothing but joy & happiness. Thank you for giving us a snippet into your lives, your videos are fantastic!
That lavender field looks so amazing! And what a cool story of how it started! We haven't been to France during lavender blooming time, it's definitely on the bucket list! We had lavender ice cream in Menton years ago and it's still one of our favourite ice creams ever! And I am also born in 1987 :D
@@SamFournier , thats what I thought.... maybe next year Ill plan visit around July. Thanks for the input and btw, i followed you on IG too. Your pics are amazing.
Anyways hope you enjoyed this "franco-français" game. Is is always funny to see in international tournaments any random southern French village playing against the national team of Japan. Next step : you both play rugby ...well it is more of a southwestern thing.
Yoooo sis now you makin' me jealous ! Lavender harvesting was something I did when I was a teenager to make some money on the side, and I couldn't get enough of home made lavender treats of all kinds ! I miss just merely WALKING in a lavender field. I'm mad jelly now ! XD On the flip side, I don't envy you the tour lady was spiting her facts a million words a second. Hope the exposure to super fast French like that doesn't feel too too discouraging . :( Good on Paul to tell politely the lady to slow down a bit for you . EDIT : Oh Paul is teaching you Pétanque ? Paul might not have patience for teaching French but he has the patience for teaching the rest to help you fit in ! :P
Wow, that must’ve been an amazing experience. I bought a bottle of lavender oil and I’ve been using it daily. Hopefully next year you can visit the lavender fields. I always feel like the French speak too fast😂 including Paul.
Occasionally he speaks to me in French but for the most part we speak English at home. I just started French classes and am hoping I’ll be able to use it more at home.

Paul must have helped with translating what the Terro Ugo woman was saying! Honestly Paul's English is so good that sometimes I forget he's French. 😉
Yes, he definitely helped with translating. One day I’ll get there but for now I need help. Paul definitely doesn’t have a French accent😂
Beautiful video, amazing photos and shots. By the way Paul is an incredible photographer !!!
Finally who did won the petanque game ?
Thanks Noé. I won 🙌🏽 Beginners luck I guess.
