I've also week ago purchased this device. I'm really happy it makes the job well. I bought this mainly as my navigation for the car. I'm being curios, do you hide your screen when you don't drive car or you keep it fixed on your dashboard?
It’s great isn’t it. I leave mine attached at all times I have fixed it to the dash permanently since making the video. Most new cars have these as standard fit these days.
Hey Dan did you update where the cables terminate ? It’d be good to hear about that and the more permanent mount . Last question when using the Bluetooth is the audio lower volume than Via the aux? Thanks !
Hi Alex not actually had a chance to re-route the cables yet but it’s on my to do list! I have fitted a few other bits such as an auxiliary battery to help with the additional power drain from the dash cam and the extra screen etc. I’ve also repaired the blocked rear washer jet and replaced the start\stop button which was worn. In answer to your question on the L322 you have no option but to connect via the aux as the Bluetooth adaptor if you have one fitted does not support this unit. The levels are fine through the aux though and obviously your phone connects via Bluetooth to the screen 😊
@@danscarchannel5367 cheers Dan useful information I’m picking up my first l322 next week aux battery and starter motor cable are high on the list then this screen. Cheers for sharing
Hi , Thanks for the review . i brught this product . it is very good . i have one quary , may i know how to turn off the speaker of the product . I didnot find any opetion in audios . It makes radio turning sound . Kindly let me know ' that will be really appreciated . Thanks
Hi Alex I use mine via the Aux out port so that cuts the sound of the speaker. I’m guessing you are using it via Bluetooth only? In that scenario I do not know if it is possible to silence the built in speaker.
Has anyone managed to get this to work via the Invery Bluetooth adapter? I've linked mine to the Invery but it just plays through the internal speakers. Very odd.
Yes I have that issue too which is why I use the aux cable. I did get it working briefly but you have to impair your phone from the car and invery then connect direct to the road top unit not the car and then the invery. As I say it worked but then was disconnecting randomly so in the end I gave up.
@@danscarchannel5367 May i know the screen quality and touch please . How long it take place to arrive . Did payed any customs charges .. please let me know . thanks
@@thomasalex4485 screen quality is excellent touch works perfectly. Took about 4 weeks to arrive but I was kept updated and knew that when I ordered it
hi sorry to disturb you at this time. can i know while using carplay i am facing an issue that my phone is getting heated. i used usb and bluetooth as well. still the same effect. can i know are facing this kind of difficulties. may i know is their any solution for this. kindly let me know.
There is no fix. You can place your phone in front of the vent and turn on the AC or just blow cold air. The phone heats up because it's running an application that draws a lot of power. That's why I use my mobile hotspot so I can run all the functions off the tablet itself.
I found this video so useful because I am thinking to get one of these for my 1999 Kia Rio Project Car
Hi Henri I’m glad it helped it’s a great device to have 😊
Great little review, ty.
Thanks glad you liked it 👍

Hi Dan does this stay permanently live when plugged into the cigarette charger or does it go off when car is turned off?
Hi Mart it switches off after about a minute after the ignition is switched off. It comes on again when you unlock the car.
Hope this helps 👍

Hi will this fit on a 2008 l322 please
Yes all you need is an aux in socket 3.5” mini jack in the back of your car and a cigarette lighter socket. Your car has both so yes it will work 😊

Looks like you won’t be able to see all the road now though.
Many new cars have a screen in this position and it passed its MoT with no advisories. So yes no problem seeing the road 😎
