I had visited Huis Ten Bosch on Christmas Eve last year (24th December 2023) ! As it was Christmas Eve, it was rather crowded then, which heightened the Christmas atmosphere to the fullest.
When I arrived during the day, there was a light rain, so I remember well how the winter weather felt even colder (but the chill only heightened the Christmas atmosphere, and I actually loved the cold, in fact the colder the better lol). Despite the rain, my spirits lifted as I saw the beautiful place designed with a Dutch theme. It felt as though I was in a real Dutch town. Everywhere was picture-perfect!
If the scenery was beautiful by day, it was even more enchanting at night when Huis Ten Bosch was illuminated. It felt as if the whole place had transformed into a fairytale land, making it seem almost unreal. The three-storey carousel, ferris wheel, windmills, Aurora Garden of lights,European-style buildings, and streets were all brightly lit with colorful lights, creating an indescribably stunning view. It was the most beautiful Christmas illumination I had ever seen, and with the Dutch-themed architecture, it truly felt like stepping into a European town! Since it was Christmas Eve, there were fireworks, which made it even more enjoyable! 🎇
It was a pity that the windmills in this video were not lighted up. When I was there last year, they were all lighted, and hence very beautiful!
If I have one regret, it was that my photography skills weren’t good enough to capture the captivating scenery! Lol But the spectacular view was forever etched in my memory.
Thank you for your hard work in creating this amazing video. You captured the beauty of Huis Ten Bosch’s Christmas illuminations so wonderfully with your excellent filming skills! ✨
PS. Thank you for going back to film the 🦖 ! ☺️
The path behind the dinosaur would lead to the back entrance of a few hotels, including Hotel Rotterdam, which I had stayed last year. Hence every time I walked from my hotel to Huis Ten Bosch, I would be greeted by this lovely dinosaur lol
52:38 This was the Japanese restaurant which I had mentioned that served the most delicious ramen I had ever eaten!

Thank you for your own wonderful perspective and commentary on the emotions I felt in Huis Ten Bosch. Thanks to you, I was able to get back to my dinosaur shoot instantly and I found this dinosaur adorable as well lol. You also helped me cover some of the expenses for these traveling shoots. Thank you so much.
I too would love to see the windmills lit up. And I love the cold as much as you do.
Your explanatory comments in English are always so wonderful and I am sure they help me and many others to understand.
It is truly amazing that you have so elaborately recreated a Dutch cityscape in Sasebo city, Nagasaki prefecture, in the Kyushu region of Japan, which is in Far East Asia, and I think it is one of the top theme parks in Asia (suitable for adults who like architecture as well). The fact that the buildings have been well preserved over the years is also in keeping with Dutch-European values.
I am very happy that I happened to find a restaurant that had the best ramen noodles you have ever had and I would like to try it next time.
I searched for Hotel Rotterdam. It is an interesting hotel that also has a branch in Fukuoka! Your comments are very informative as they give me an idea of how foreigners perceive Japan.👍

      @@FUKUOKAWALKER.KyushuJapan You are most welcome.
I had enjoyed watching this video tremendously as it brought back my wonderful memories at Huis Ten Bosch.
Your great videos continue to widen my knowledge on other great places in Fukuoka/Kyushu. Where possible, I would like to visit them in the future.
Yesterday I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of one of my previous colleague (only in her forties), whom I used to be closed to. This had again reinforced my opinion a person should live to their fullest without reservation. Hence, I will make sure I have a fruitful and meaningful trip to Fukuoka/Kyushu next year.
