Somehow I have stumbled my way into the best ski videos I have ever seen. Absolute masterpiece in capturing all levels of ski experience with you and all the crew. Sure, maybe the skiing aspect of the videos is expert level, which is fun to watch, and makes me want to go and challenge my own skills. But you allow the vulnerable and humanistic side of an advanced skier to be included for a beginner and intermediate skill level skier to relate. I don't just mean the fun banter and fake outtake part, which is great also, but the "how's your butt?", and seemingly genuine concern you have for your friend. There are tons of videos with disconnected banter from someone who can't comfortable demonstrate concern for their friends safety. I just seems pure. From what I have watched, you have perfected the imperfect ski experience video. Which is a microcosm of real life. I can't wait to sit with my 11-year-old daughter to watch these videos in our off season. We have been loving our skiing together the last two years and having her see such excellent skiers have the same scared, relieved, and proud moments will build her confidence. It will be relatable to her. We have been to Mont Treblant, Park City, Sun Valley and our local hills in the Midwest, and are planning for Panorama, and some other trips next year. Thanks.
I seriously can not tell you how much this comment means to me. I teared up while reading it. I showed it to my dad (and emotions don't flow out of him too easily) and he teared up reading it too. It's comments like these that make it worth it. I hope your daughter enjoys, and the trip to Panorama is amazing. Thank you again.
Thank you to everyone working on these ski vlogs! They really capture the magic of being out there with good company in incredible spaces. Echoing other comments here, but the humor and realness shine through and I've been adding some songs to an on-my-way-to-the-mountain driving playlist. Sending good vibes from Maine and can't wait for the next one!
This is what backcountry with your friend is like…so fun and real! Some stupid decision are always made but you learn and hopefully live to ski another day. Takes a certain type of person to enjoy this sport and these guys and gals are my people! Shred on friends!!!
When he stopped in the chute and looked like he was ready to point them. I was thinking. Not in these conditions! Don't do it...oh man he did it, this will be interesting. The runout was even crazier than expected with all the frozen debris.
You could see conditions before they looked into the chute. Definitely a case of point it for the content I’d say! exits littered with death cookies are my worst nightmare 😂😂😂
