The ford 2017 F-150 eco boost has a function to prime oil filter after changing! you press the accelerator pedal to the floor and start it and it will crank but not fire up until oil pressure builds then you restart it and its good to go !
My sister has a 2008 CRV 2.4 never an issue has approx. 130k now. She was good at having it serviced at Dealer and some Japanese car shops. I changed oil on it 3-4 times in the past few years..
i’m not sure if your vehicle has the 2.4 L earth dreams naturally aspirated direct injection motor but if it is a GDI motor you’re losing your oil from piston blow by due to the excessive pressures in the combustion chamber from the higher compression and high pressure fuel injection and the low viscosity 0-20 oil. My wife and I have a 2019 CRV with that engine and it had 28,000 miles on it when we got it and we consume a quart of oil every 4000 miles & diluting oil oil with fuel !!! I started using a product made by Lucas oil it’s called Pure synthetic oil stabilizer. I started running 1 quart of the lucus pure synthetic in place of a quart of oil and it all but cured both issues…. i say “all but”because i now also change the oil every 5k miles i don’t see any oil loss but if you run the full 8k miles based off the manufacturer oil light interval you might still need to check it ! also cured my friends 2014 camry & my brothers 2017 silverado…all GDI engines! i live in southern california and it never freezes so if you live in a colder climate during winter run 1/2 qt instead of a full quart in place of the standard motor oil !
Leave it alone, just add oil as necessary and use 5w30. Its prob burning oil because of the 0w-20 in the first place. That weight doesnt do any car any favors

Nokian are well known to be one of the best winter tire brands. I think its Finnish.
It's very big here in Scandinavia, and I won't drive anything beside Nokian tires. Been class leading a long time.

I don’t believe that oil sticker considering they had a genuine Honda filter. Wouldn’t the grease monkey shop have used an off brand
I saw that also.
This is true, was done more recently on the history, still past due though, about 6k miles
As in 6k miles since last change
C'mon Bud! Quick lubes use top quality oil filters!! 😜😜🤣🤣
bud, your advisors write like a 5-yr old.
Have the same anker speaker....ish fiyah
Do all of the Honda engines use the same oil filter?
@rainmanraysrepairs gave you a "10 milli" shout out yesterday Bud!! 😂😂
Thanks for the video, if the oil consumption is a quart every 2500 miles, is it also pistons & rings ? No oil leaks 16 crv thanks

Lol , why don't you just use a higher viscosity oil instead of that junk Lucas .@@thisdayage7997
but yes if the car is driven to long with low fuel diluted oil it will cause excessive wear on bearings and rings

How critical is it to prime an oil filter, and can you do it with a push button start equipped car?
There ya go buddy boy 👍
Love your videos my dude🤘
