    I’ve got an Anderson H2+ that’s killer. Very unique sounding pickup. Very Hi-Fi sounding.

      I'm going to have an Anderson guitar built and put that in the bridge!

      I think they are the most common? I bought one at a store in 1996 came with it. I get confused bc on the spec sheet some of the pickups have different names back then.
      I am ordering a Bobcat with the covered pickups hc1 and hc2 is it? I get confused bc they have 2 dif humbucker model lines. I am too old to play metal rhythm, but I still gotta shred. I don’t tap anymore when I put on that much gain it sounds like crap. I have a Floyd Rose kinda regret it too much metal on metal I think it robs you of tone. When I change strings it takes me forever to get them in tune and stay. After about a few days to a week it stays in tune perfect though. I might be doing things wrong I wasn’t taught how to calibrate it- using online guides. Back in the 90’s I didn’t even know how to use the fine tuners- nobody did so many bad guitar teachers. One guy had one didn’t know! This guy would chew tobacco and miss hit his Ed Roman guitar and let it drip. Wasn’t my teacher lol. Told his students an Ed Roman was custom and Anderson wasn’t. Worked in a crappy store rented instruments to band kids- sold only cheap Ibanez. Those places are the worst. I would rather play an epiphone.

    Anderson drop top with H2+ sounds better to me!! It is more rock guitar with more mids and growl! But both guitars are amazing

      Yes more cut and it gets a little more play time. The other one has a Les Paul woods and sounds thicker. Cheers!

    Thank you sir!
    Very helpful video, goes to show there really is no jack of all trades in the electric guitardom.
    How quiet are the TA single coils on overdrive, say, compared to traditional Strat coils?

    • @chakalaka3960
      @chakalaka3960 3 года назад

      They are whisper quiet in comparison to a regular strat... I've had noiseless ones as well in an ibanez that were hissing like mad in comparison to the TA singles. TA is the pinnacle

    Craig...Quick question for you.....If you were gonna pick between a Soldano SLO 30 amp head, and a Bogner XTC 3534 amp head, which one would you pick and why? If it helps any, it will be played through my Friedman 4x12 cabinet, with 2 greenbacks on top, and 2 vintage 30's on the bottom....which is an awesome sound combination, and the only speaker cabinet that I play through. Awesome video as Always. That's a killer Anderson Arch Angel.

      Totally depends on the sound you’re going for. You can hear the sound I like. I haven’t had that particular amp but did have a Bogner XTC years ago. Again I didn’t not do I head to head comparison with this amp so?

    I thought the H series and HF/HC series were different things? Are these H2/H3s or HC2/HC3s?

    • @cragginshred
      @cragginshred  6 месяцев назад

      Those have covers so I believe it is the HC not much difference in tone. I don’t have that guitar anymore anymore.

    I have a drop top looks identical to the blue one except basswood. Bridge is h2+ most popular one I think.

      Lol I have a Bobcat on order goes into production next month. The Anderson dealer had a spot early I got bumped up to 4 months. They went all internet during covid now they are stocking like 3 in inventory at a time. Should have it by the end of February or March. My drop top is like the super strat this one I wanted more vintage hc1 and hc2. I can customize the A on the headstock for an extra 100 I am still debating. It’s transparent black with black headstock (was 100 extra already) I was thinking maybe blue just to make it stand out. I wonder if they would let me black it out make it the mystery brand. Guy on reverb sold a t cobra for under 1700 bc there was a crack on the neck that looked basically like a scratch- I almost bought it sold yesterday.

      @@cragginshred btw- been told to check out Vigier. They basically are like Anderson except made in France. Looks like real quality not just a bunch of strat knock offs like most these companies. Saw a D’Pergo listed 7000 for a damn indistinguishable from a Fender strat copy. There showroom is like an art gallery or something it’s nuts.
