My son wonders if the Sasquatch will be happy to hear about this?

This is all great and applaudable. Thank you. But let me understand it correctly, so the future of the %90 of Indiana's forests, and its wildlife are in the hand of private-landowners and their self-serving financial decisions? What if the majority of them don't care about any of these preservation and recreation solutions? Who is going to oversee what these individuals do with the land, its trees, and its wildlife? I genuinely don't understand how forests are up for sale.

You're asking great questions! Private landowners can decide whenever they want if the want to put their forested land on the market for sale.

From what I have seen and what was told they have inspection on the property every so often. What I would love to know if there's a Grant that can help people to purchase these properties that are up for sale from the private owners have to sell . I would love to be a part of this and add to it. To much of our forest are being ripped out for housing that we do not need. These companies need to reuse land that has already been ripped apart and sitting vacant for years. We need our trees and wildlife for our future.
