Exquisite. I've always preferred the piano version of this masterpiece to Griffes' later orchestral version. The later revision is about three minutes longer and I've always found it more diffuse and less effective with Griffes occasionally seeming to get lost in the weeds. The piano version is more tightly structured with the exotic central dance episode anchoring the more explosive outer sections. The performance here is excellent.
