The year 2000 was pretty amazing. Living before 2001, 2008, and 2020 was fantastic. You could feel how excited people were at the start of a new century.
Went to this Beach in 2007, got down to the harbour on Phi Phi early morning, paid a local fisherman 3000bht to sail me to Maya bay (real name)..was there all alone for 3hrs then the tourist boats stated arriving and i went back with a cool experience in the back :D
2009, Cape Verde, Turtle Conservation project. Gen 2 iPod in my ears, 1am. On my own walking down the beach to release 80 baby Loggerhead Turtles. Best moments of my life. True Story.

I swear this song is different in the movie. it's mixed differently. Someone check my sanity on that. It's ~41 minutes into the movie. I think in the movie it's a mashup with the eno original.. and if that's the case.. that track needs to somehow find its way into my life. edit: It totally is a mashup. damn I want it.

Brian Eno's version has a more ethereal nature to it, this one seems to be remixed for the mainstream, so personally i prefer Brian's. Both are good though!
This movie and soundtrack hold a very special place in the ol heart for me...
