I've noticed that what happens a lot is, they find lava, yell or something, stay completely still in game, and just watch the lava pour on themselves rather than move back and cover it up. mostly michael and gavin though.
i dunno why, in theory this would sound a bad lets play but because the achievement hunters are bringing there commentary to it makes this lets play that more enjoyable. I also agree, this is one of my fav too not too sure why, it just had a nice charm to it :3 This lets play also had some of the funniest moments in there entire lets play series, this could also be a reason to why i like this one so much XD
For some reason that moment when gav went up in flames got me limp in my chair laughing for about half a minute and when I finally recovered I went on to snicker for about 2. (Everyone asleep and all) Just the hilarious mix of failed plans, concerned ryan trying to help him out and his totally unexpected and Immediate death that got me so bad that it still makes me laugh just writing about it xD

ive noticed that gavin gets hit with a lot of lava, hell be mining and minding his own business and then the screen will suddenly get brighter and then he gets disintegrated by lava. hes got like a full second to react and he always ends up dying from it. I theorize that the game is giving him karmic punishment for putting lava on the others house in the first episode, that's the only reason I can think of for why he gets hit with so much lava.

Achievement Hunter's guide to stopping lava: 1. Stand in front of the lava for a few seconds. 2. Cycle through your hotbar a couple times. 3. Try to place cobblestone directly in front of you, rather than onto a wall. Congratulations, you are now dead.
