  • I have been wanting do to a cello for a long time, I have to admit that I completely underestimated the load of work.
Even if the final result looks simple it is full of small details and precision to have the final piece looking like a real one.
This is an accurate size of a 4/4 Full Cello (5ft tall).
My favorite part is the wood grain texture :)
    What do you think?

As someone who spent years playing a string instrument i am just delighted to see someone making a chocolate cello who obviously has actual experience being around string instruments!! or, at the very least, studied the structure & appearance of a cello to a tee.
From what I can see, either he visited a violinmaker (that’s the correct term for anyone who designs, repairs, or builds lute-group string instruments) in order to see & understand the inner structure of the cello, or he actually plays a violin, viola or cello himself. Either way, he’s awesome for making it true to life for all of us musicians who are watching!!

Was expecting a miniature or something, but this guy actually made a cello! I'm super impressed!
...that bow though...loosen it a bit, lol

Super curious how it would sound/resonate, but it would break under the tension of the strings most likely.
...but it's super well made, so maybe not?
