I use a moderater on my hunting rifles and loved seeing you make this, I do have a mill but don’t think I could do something like this for my rifles, thanks a lot for sharing 👍

I would love to see you produce your own air rifle just to see what it would look like as obviously the internals would be amazing. I'm never bored watching your channel even though I have zero technical knowledge, I'm a shooter and love air rifles ( logun s16😟 BSA R10. FX Dreamline ). We live in a fantastic era of air rifles. Q. Why dont you use a sound measurement device and compare your moderators with stock ones so that we can see the reduction/difference in sound? I have a SMK P18 and it is noisier than Annabel Chong on a happy hour.

Having made several silencers- yes they are silent-not moderators, for several guns, including changing the moderator around the Reximex Regime barrel into a proper silencer; so keeping the gun short as intended. It now being so quiet is has got me several tripples on rats and 7! in a row one night. Using 'Gambo Expander Country pellets': the best pellets for rats as they do not give a loud Whak! I also changed the internals on my Air Arms moderator to make it silent. The secret being 5 chambers, the first being quite large to blead off the air, with no deadening material then a baffle with a 8mm hole the next chamber is a 3rd smaller with a thin felt liner, held in place with a metal mesh (in the Regime I used two cheap hair rollers) another 8mm baffle. The next chamber is 1/2 the size of the first, again with a liner. Then another two empty chambers wth baffles. To stop any 'twang' the silencer is wrapped in thin black leather. I know you have made a beautiful 'silencer' but remember -KIS!
