lisa would probably go on hot ones and say it wasn’t spicy enough 😂

idk, to be fair it doesn't seem to matter what your spice tolerance is, Da Bomb just manages to kill you no matter what
"light work, no reaction"
My best friend and her husband legit got reaper tenders and just simply went “ooo that’s hot” and continued about their day like NOTHING. 😭
bruh my best friend said "tf is this shit? it aint even spicy" TRYING THE LITERAL LAVA WINGS
I did it a few weeks ago signed the waiver it was spicy but not waiver worthy it’s not that hot tbh
@@johnyvillanueva202it was hot as hell for me but I could eat it all
If you think reaper is spicy, you have zero spice tolerance. It's like a strong a jalapeño.
@@NaregChakhbasian I have a decent spice tolerance. Being Mexican and raised on spicy foods, I have a good tolerance. Thank you.
Lisa ur spice tolerance baffles me😂
Well she did train herself to increase her spice tolerance a few years ago
@@BeretBay honestly you can build your spice tolerance up pretty quickly, in my early teens (21 now) I started with just ramen noodles and chili flakes, until I was able to handle 3tbs of them in a bowl. Only took me about 3-4 weeks. I could pretty much eat anything spicy after that, with some exceptions of course.
@@BeretBayI remember when she just started doing that, crazy how far she’s come
I’ve eaten here a lot. They are surprisingly not that spicy as one would think. The Korean buldak noodles are wayyy worse.
@@minnyle6330 I agree, I was kinda disappointed, since the price is pretty high and flavor is average I at least expected the heat to come through.
lisa is the definition of the “light work, no reaction” meme

So glad they opened one here in KCMO! I’m going this evening
it’s not even a spice tolerance anymore you’re like a spice legend lisa 😭😭
No, she’s full of shit 😂😂
Literally like I genuinely believe she would do good in those extreme spice tolerance competitions lol
Tbf the stuff here isn’t as hot as you would probably think it is, I’ve eaten here before and there are plenty of east and south Asian places I’ve eaten at while traveling which are way more spicy.
@@channelname9468 probably but from where she started i’m still surprised how far she’s come, that she even tends add spices to her meals
@@tireddaily yeah
Forget the Reaper level, Lisa is gonna create her own 😭🤚
I just really respect the amount of ranch they gave you. 👏👏
FRRRRR
That's not ice cream??
@@mamajane85Lmao no😂😂. It's ranch, spicy ranch 👍
Ya daves doesn't have ranch
It's a milkshake she has said before that she likes to dip her fries in milkshake
The spicy chicken store owners bouta cry everytime they see asians walk in, nothing is hotter than eomma's homemade kimchi, that she says is not even spicy
And it leaves you with a 3rd degree burn
why isn't this blown up already?
Damn that chicken looks good
I know I literally was watching and my mouth started watering 😂😩
It is pretty good lol. I want some now, at one point I was buying it every other day.
I wish I could try it
my cheeks are juicer. they jiggle in my poo and i love the smell of bums in my mouth
I tried it but wasnt a big fan, they only use a dry rub for seasoning and they over do it with the paprika and cayenne. I love spicy food but the flavor was overly too peppery
Daves Hot Chicken slaps so hard
That ranch dip was perfection 😩😩😩

For someone who was only going for mild to “let's try the reaper one next”, it's really been a great journey with you sis
The jump from extra hot to reaper is actually insane. I always get the extra hot because everything below it isn’t hot enough for me. I stupidly decided to get the reaper one day and immediately regretted it. My toilet still has battle scars from that day
Completely agree! First bite I regretted it 😂
I once to knew this regret and pain. It was delicious and painful after 😂😂😂😂😂
I probably have an average spice tolerance, but I love to punish myself. Now I really want to try it.
Idk. It wasn’t that hot to me. My stomach did hurt after though. It’s just that my mouth wasn’t burning

🔥 I feel sorry for your brother, I was sweating just by watching this 🔥
Lisa is going to conquer all the spice challenges
I can’t I also had the medium to the point of crying you guys are crazy 😭
the comparison of lisa saying it’s not Hot hot vs watching her fight for her life a few years ago when she was building up her spice tolerance
Girl u got me droolingggg 😂
lisa can tackle any spice
❤
542 and one comment?!Let me fix that.
I got off a plane once, had just flown cross country and the TV’s on the plane were broken, I was so happy to get home. My friends picking me up were like “so on the way back we’re stopping at Dave’s because there was no line when we just passed.” Honestly, grabbing some chicken before heading home sounded great so I was very down. We get there and it’s my first time, and my friends were just like “are you trying the reaper?” I was like huh? They explained you need a waiver and whatnot, it’s super spicy, I was delirious from the plane ride and just said “sure”. It was very spicy but not to the extent that I couldn’t finish it, I took maybe ten minutes to get down one tender with bread. It’s very mouth forward spice, a bit harsh but that usually indicates it doesn’t last long and that was the case. But yeah, definitely spicy, and my body was not stoked after only eating airport/plane food and reaper tender for the whole day
Aiyeeeee!! I’m so glad you tried Dave’s Hot Chicken. I tried the medium and it was perfect. I can’t imagine having your tolerance. 🥵
My mom asked me why I'm drooling 🤤.

Dave's hot chicken has popped up on my feed at least 3 times today. I need to try it

You’d think it might unblock your nose so you don’t sound like you’ve got a cold all the time, but here we are 😂😂
I’m so proud of you! You went from having little spice tolerance to pro level tolerance lol
I’m impressed, I’ve been to Dave’s and the medium is plenty warm for me .
bro called smt that has left me on the toilet crying for like 2 hours “not that hot” 😀
I just moved here to Kansas City for medical school. I had no idea there was a Dave’s hot chicken here in KC! Thanks Lisa
Guys lets not forget she had a whole series on building spice tolerance
Daves hot chicken makes best chicken sandwich. Not even a competition
I think you would DEFINITELY be able to handle it. Can't wait for you to try it 😉
That’s what I need when I ask for ranch. A cup! 😂
Soooo happy we have a Dave’s in Kansas City now! 🙌🏾🤗
I took two bites, and literally thought I was gonna go to the hospital😂. I was out of commission for hours.
I 100% agree with you, it really wasn't as hot as it should have been. 😢
The real spice king😂😂😂
✨Lisa is literally the spice queen✨
I kept screaming "NOOOO" until i heard she was fine 💀
You gotta bring the spice tolerance series back so you can try new things with spices!
It’s honestly really good, took me about 30 minutes to eat it but I loved every bite 😂
I think you are making me hungry eventhough I just had breakfast 😅
A lifetime ago i would be immune to that level of spice....but now I'd be dying 😅
I definitely think you could! They recently opened one in my area too, and it was definitely spicy, but I wouldn't say it was unbearable. If your videos are anything to gauge by you'll do pretty well.
That fry dip was perfect
The reaper is definitely panting spicy, lowkey makes you delirious. But it’s not unbearable 😂😂. Once I was a couple bites into a reaper strip, chugging copious amounts of water when my manager zooms me. It was a lot, but hilarious
I think my mouth is actually watering at the sight of those chicken tenders.
That spicy tolerance challenge did her well
Bro Dave’s Hot Chicken just opened where I live and I used to think it was just some small business until my cousin told me this was originally from America. This looks siiccckk!!
Crazy how she built her spice levels, to see she could barely handle hot sauce on her Ramen noodles to now wanting to do reaper level challenges is crazy
French fries in ice cream.
I see Lisa is a person of culture aswell.
Yummy
Girl said “is was hot but not that hot” LIKE HUH I’D BE DYING
this is making my mouth water, I wanna try that it looks delicious
Just casually trying to reaper on a Tuesday is crazy
dave’s is sooo good
I used to love spicy food and could handle almost any spice level and I still like the taste, but I'm not allowed to eat anything spicy anymore because of a chronic disease, so watching this makes me so envious 😢
LOL the other day I tested a hot sauce I had to sign a waver for and had no reaction to it. I feel it, Lisa.
I love the dipping other people eating would dip and be aggressive having everything still or most of it this was just satisfying
that mac and cheese looks unreasonably delicious
“Sooooo, he don’t wanna put up with the same shit as me so I won’t be taking him anywhere anymore. Thank you” 😭😭😭🥴🤣
I’ve been watching your videos for like a year now. I know this is not content based, so you don’t have to acknowledge it, but has anyone ever told you your voice is calming to hear and kinda therapeutic?
Light from death is literally the prime example of anti villain. Cuz he’s literally an anti-villain
That fry dip was crazy
Omg that chicken looks SO good! HOLY!
The fries in the milkshake is so me
that looks so good! as someone who has low spice tolerance but love spicy food i would eat the hell out of that while sweating buckets!
Nothing goes better with spicy food than pickles.
Dave’s is FIREEEEE
Nice tutorial. I subscribed to your channel.
I went to Vegas not too long ago and there was a Dave's Hot Chicken just around the corner from my hotel and I'm really mad I only ever got it once at 2 am because that place is fucking magical. Their food is so good and the closest ones to me are Tronto and The Bronx, each over an hour drive away. I'm so mad I miss it so much.
You know I just started feeling it randomly nice, so I think that your channel is super amazing and you’re so inspiring and so kind❤. (Not flirting)
That’s the one I get every single time I go to Dave’s hot chicken
it's so nice to see another Kansascityan
Woahwoahwoah... did they give you an actual cup filled with ranch?! That's amazing! 😆 You could dip most of the tenders/ fingers in there. 🤤
Lisa is officially the spice queen
That food 😋 looks scrumptious 😋
Finally got to try Dave's hot chicken because I moved down the street from one! So delicious, have yet to try to reaper cause they won't sell it through the drive thru
"can i handle the reaper spice level"
Her eating hot and extra hot:
You really built your tolerance!
"Spiceking knows your location"
the generous amount of sauce♡
I had a reaper tender at Dave’s in Fairview (it’s closed now 😢) and I loved it! It was pretty spicy, but if you are fearless, I would recommend!
It’s 8:40 pm rn THAT LOOKS HELLA GOOD 😮
Growing up with dominican, mexican, and indian friends they would laugh at the reaper challenge 😂
My mouth just started watering when I saw that chicken
Who want Lisa to bring back the building my spice tolerance videos?
It’s actually not as bad as I thought. It’s tolerable 🤘🏻
I love the fact tht ur from here I just drove past there today I think I’m gonna try the one near the plaza
So glad there’s a Dave’s in KC now. I’m going as soon as I get back from Atlanta
My indian mum: It tastes sour where's the spicy one
Me: I..... Need.......... Icecream..............
The waiver is basically just a marketing thing.
Kinda true
"It is hot,but not hot hot" famous last words
We saw Dave in Milwaukee cool dude with a genuine passion and the food is so fire too wish I signed the waiver for the hottest ones now😢
Looks delicious 😋
Tried it for the first time back in Spring this year. It was also my first time trying Carolina Reaper anything. I ordered 2 tenders: one reaper and the level below it. I started with the latter first to warm me up for the reaper. It was hot but it didn’t kill me. Can’t wait to go back. And honestly, I like when they make me sign a waiver. Even if it ends up not being challenging, it’s still fun.
My homie gets no spice, he’s a mad man
I wish we had a Dave's chicken in Seattle WA it looks bussin
The main thing that everyone should do before trying this is to correctly identify your spice tolerance. A lot of people seem to think they can handle spice but they can’t, which is totally fine. If you’ve eaten a lot of genuinely spicy food and you still do right now, then you should be fine.
I will say though, don’t expect anything remotely comparable to the other heat levels, reaper is FAR hotter than anything else they serve. It also matters a lot if you get a tender or a sandwich, the sandwich isn’t nearly as hot. To me, an extra hot tender is a basic spice level to where I can feel the sting, but the extra hot sandwich isn’t hot enough. As far as reaper goes, yeah I would definitely call the spice level uncomfortable on the sandwich, and actually painful on the tender.
It’s also important to know that it drastically changes the experience if you use a lot of sauce. The more sauce you use, the less spicy it’s going to be. Get a milkshake on the side as well if you really want to make it more tolerable.
If you don’t have the highest spice tolerance but you’re determined to try this challenge, get a cup of sauce on the side and a milkshake as well. Smother every bite in sauce and drink a sip of the milkshake between every bite. If you do this, someone with even a moderate spice tolerance should be able to get through it.
Good luck y’all
