Wonder if Robert will legitimize any of his bastard children and raise them. The Baratheons damn near extinct. Would be nice seeing more around the realm.
Other factors- the iron bank of bravos is going to want their scheduled payment from king Robert. Can Robert deal with that? It would be around this time that Varys would report the whisper that Danerys Targaryen has hatched dragons……
@@TheConclave001 if you see this comment in one of the parts, you should have Robert Barra and legitimize his daughter from the books as well as Gendry from the show and work that into the story
I really appreciate these suggested plot twists; almost as much as I really like these "what if's" episodes from @TheConclave001. But, I would like to state that Westeros had rarely (if at all) dealt kindly to bastards. Especially ones that could inherit the throne. I would consider the plot where King Robert Baratheon would simply make his brothers Heirs-presumptive in the event where he's unable to have another son and heir. Then, he should seek to take a wife, preferably from either the Reach (Highgarden) or the Vale. Maybe, Margaery Tyrell for instance (or someone else that doesn't have a super-scheming grandmother like Olenna). You know, a marriage with a strong House that isn't as committed to the Baratheon royalty as the Starks or Storm's End; to a young and fertile bride that could still offer him the chance of an Heir-apparent - a new and this time"legitimate" Prince. Just my opinion.

@@bearjew6665I hope so, the Baratheons are damn near extinct. He could do a Targ the unworthy and legitimize all his bastard kids.
