You are just too entertaining! The T-shirt was a hoot😂! We could find more of for T shirts! .....It's a mess, but it'll be fine. I dont even know anymore. I dont want to spend any time on this, but... were gonna finish it! I tried something, didn't know if it would work, but tried any way. I shoved it in any way, and it was just this huge thing. I think that might be a better idea....yeah, that's what I want. I dont know. 😂 😂
Firstly, I truly appreciate your tenacity, your ability to think outside the box and your willingness to never give up ❤. Secondly, you always manage, to make me smile and laugh out loud. You have I dry sense of humour, I truly love it. Thirdly, your piece is not ugly and remember, there is always a buyer, somewhere, for every piece of art. Sending love and best wishes ♥️🙏💐💐
I've been shopping from Temu for close to a year if not over. I love all the stuff that I've gotten. About the $5 credit when your stuff is late, you don't even have to ask for it. They are right on it and give it to you the very day that it has gone over the time frame for delivery. I also get my packages a lot sooner than some more well known retailers.
It’s not that bad! The edge is pretty. I made a tray I hated and covered the center with a solid color, added stickers, and glued a small bowl near the edge for small things. It’s one of my fav pieces, lol! Go figure. Love seeing your temu haul. Resin stuff is so expensive and temu makes it affordable. I buy all my stickers, inclusions, and molds from them. Great video, thanks!
Thank you so much ❤️🥰 I absolutely love them for all of that and glitters. They are way cheaper. I wish shipping was faster but if I can get 2 times the amount of things then that’s the way I will go for sure and just suck it up on the shipping part. Plus I love free shipping lol
I order from Temu all the time. I get almost all my molds and supplies from them. I have had only 1 mold issue. It was slightly warped. Was still able to use the mold.
Don't put yourself down, you were braver than me to try what was in your head then keep going as you always do. Loved the idea someone said about getting a kitten playing with a ball of wool on the top, i'm sure there's temp tattoos like that you could add x
I crochet, and I think it would look super cute with crochet needles on your table next to you while you weave the magic. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Same here. I've ordered from Temu a lot. Some replacement lids for a tumbler didn't fit (many different sizes trying to fit 1 tumbler) and before the 90 days, they gave me a full refund and I didn't have to send them back. Just watch the sizes on the molds. Some look big, but are tiny. So make sure to look at the image with measurements. But they have great molds for resin, soap, candles, etc..
Omg what I would give to have you as my neighbour, you're my type of friend, someone I could sit down and have a coffee with plus complain about our resin disasters, then laugh them away. 😂
I didn’t hate the result of the yarn, starry pigment and white resin. I did not like the ribbon, abalone and glass embellishments, honestly, I found those really distracting. I feel like the yarn has a really organic feel, and the starry pigment is flashier, so I think they just didn’t go together that well. But the techniques seem to work, so I’m going to try this yarn experiment, with maybe more earthtones.
Hey Darling, after you added the ribbon i was getting manly vibes and was hoping your creative juices flowed that way. Another angle would have been nautical, but believe me I know that it is far easier to see things from the other side and I understand your frustration. Thanks for the laughs today, they were much needed. Looking forward to Saturday ❤❤
new to watching you unpacking moulds. 😊 At the start, you said you contacted Temu, So Temu sent you the whole bunch of stuff ‘FOR FREE’, was it these moulds? I’ve brought moulds from them, & am mostly pleased with them & most other bits. The items I have probs with every time, is the multi layer, Multi compartment storage boxes. Grat for jewellery findings & Mica powders etc. They usually have either the top lever clasps torn, or the edge of the top layer is cracked. Some the bottom rack. Depends on what need the delivery people are like. I take the obligatory pics, write an explanation. Straight away, they refund the cost. Telling me I can keep them. I mended 1/2 with hot glue but had to put lighter bits in them. Some beyond resuscitating. But they are far cheaper than other outlets, so stuck with them until I’d got what I needed. Playing with wool/twine, in resin. I’ve done it with my grand kids, yrs ago. In the end. I poured a little in a shallow lid, unravelled the yarn that I needed. Just lightly Dragging it thru the lid & over paper towel, as I adjusted it in the mould. Not quite so messy or tangled. (Kids were a mess tho) (But harder if you relay the narrative at the same time, I’d imagine. (Orders from the UK -WE DO not PAY ANYTHING FOR SHIPPING. BUT DO GET £5 if pkg is later than expected.) (Temu send their goods from China to the UK)
Yes it was everything in this video that I unpacked. I am a Temu affiliate. We get free shipping too but it has to be a $10 minimum order. Is that the same for you?
We are our own worst critics. If it doesn't match our vision, we see it as a fail. This is a nice looking piece and I like the sparkle. Any yarn related sticker would pull it together. Keep trying new things.
I dunno, you tried something out of the box and it does not have the look you may want but it certainly shows how creative you are. Take a step back, a deep breath and don't give up. No doubt in my mind that you can save the piece if you really let your heart take you out of the dislike for the piece. YOU CAN DOOOO ITTTT (it's what we tell our kids).
I'm having issues with my bank declining all debit card requests! I'm livid! Anyway, when I started my new hobby, knitting, the 1st thing I did was place an order with temu. I scored, major!
Hey that yarn would be great to make barriers for doing uv resin. I think you did invent something here😊 I haven't slept cause I'm not feeling well but you made me laugh through this whole video😂😅😊. You're too hard on yourself girl ❤ have a blessed day 😊
It actually would be cool for that. If you make a better design than what I did. Maybe even use the yarn that has the gradient of colors could look really cool too
@TheBlueElephantGifts or dip it in Elmer's glue and while wet make the design on cured resin. When it dries, you could add gold or silver foils to it. Then fill with different color uv resin. You are stirring up the creative juices in me 😆 🤣
I’m very sorry to be entertained by your misery, but you are funny girl!! You had me giggling away as you got really down on yourself! When you 1st demoulded it, I thought (other than the red not showing thru) that it looked just like it did before it cured… if that makes sense? Anyhoo, I certainly didn’t think it looked like a fail. These are how brilliant ideas are born; you’ve started with the yarn and you’re now developing it as you go. If you’re not happy with it, just keep at it, tweaking it and I’m sure you’ll come to something that you love… mind you, I am brilliant at dishing out advice… advice that I rarely follow myself!! If I was as heartbroken as you were, I’d have turfed it by now!! 🤣 🤣 I read a comment somewhere recently that talked about failure, and the lady wrote this: A FAIL is a: F first A attempt I in L learning I thought the saying was cute… unless of course you’re working on attempt 3 or 4 or 10!! 😂😂 Looking forward to your next video Darl. Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Thank you so much Nat. ❤️❤️❤️🥰We have to find humor especially in the things that make us want to cry. It’s honestly how we can keep going and trying again. I’m glad that I can make people laugh. I love the comment and if it’s ok with you I’d like to use it in a video. I feel like we can all benefit from it.
I personally love Temu! Don’t tell my husband! lol! I just hate waiting for it to get here. I’m not a patient person! lol Anywho, the yarn idea is pretty cool, maybe just not in the pattern you chose. Try different patterns. STOP being so hard on yourself! Every project you do, no matter how many times you have done it before, is a learning process. Just cut yourself some slack! Since I and my granddaughter are very new at resin I started making notes on what did and didn’t work. We look at the notes. Slowly we are making fewer mistakes. Ya know like bubbles, colors that don’t look good together or we didn’t like. And on and on. Maybe some day one of us, or both, will be as good and creative as you. Hoping anyway. Love ya girl!
I have ordered molds from them, two of them had holes… Than God I filled them with water to measure how much resin I would need, or I would have had quite a mess….
Oh no. That would’ve been such a mess to clean. I think the majority of my molds I have gotten through them. Aside from me not paying attention to the sizes I have only had one issue with one of them and it had a scratch on it. I contacted them and they gave me a refund pretty much immediately and I didn’t have to send it back.
The tray would be cute if you had a kitten playing with a ball of yarn sticker to put on the top? Or a ball of yarn with knitting needles?
I don’t have one but that would be adorable ❤️❤️
I just love your videos. You are so entertaining while we learn.
Thank you so much 🥰❤️

Yes sizes are kinda deceptive and I have made that mistake before. Have you purchased actual tumblers from them before? If so are they any good?
Omg what I would give to have you as my neighbour, you're my type of friend, someone I could sit down and have a coffee with plus complain about our resin disasters, then laugh them away. 😂

You are so funny, thanks for making me smile and sharing your mistakes as we all make them and you just make us feel human❤

Yeah after I put the ribbon I regretted it. Earth tones sound pretty. I also think the yarn that fades into different colors could be neat too.
Hey Darling, after you added the ribbon i was getting manly vibes and was hoping your creative juices flowed that way. That’s a good idea too. I have nautical stencils, they may be too big but maybe I can find one that will work. I’ll have to look. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much Crystal 🥰❤️🥰you are 100% correct. And that is a great idea about the stickers
you could add a toplayer with ex. silvery mica-powders and swirl the resin around a bit , if you still don't like it that much... interresting video
You guys are all giving me such great ideas. I may be able to save this yet ❤️❤️

It has a 70s vibe to me. I like it. It's not my thing, but I like it. Chin up! They all can't be winners. 😂❤❤❤
Thank you Barbara 🥰❤️

Trying is learning 😊

Don't be so hard on yourself. You tried something that some of us would be scared or not give it a try. We try we learn we move on.

You could have put words on it like "sit back and unwind"?

Could you not put a complete colour to hide the yarn?
I could’ve done that in the topcoat. I guess I was hoping that I could save it and still keep some of the look of the yarn.
I have ordered molds from them, two of them had holes… Than God I filled them with water to measure how much resin I would need, or I would have had quite a mess….

lol the thought had crossed my mind, but I argued with myself about it and I lost 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I tried yarn to and I didn't like mine either.
I think I may try again just completely different next time now that I kinda know what to expect
They left my parcel by the bin I came home it was stolen they whould not refund as parcel was deliverd to bin lost 46 .00
Oh no that’s not cool. Did you speak with you local post office to see if they would do anything about it?
😅 I think it's pretty.
Thank you so much Laura ❤️🥰
You tried something different don't be so hard on yourself I like the idea of wool in the resin
Thank you Yvette ❤️❤️
