Alhamdolillah I knew stuff like this about the users of magic, there was a time when I went to a place where there was a man who claims that he cures those who are possessed by djins and so on, so went inside a small building that resembles to where Sophi people gather (Zawia) and there were a lot of people inside and one man standing and sometime walking though those setting. My coming to that place was for my brother who suffers from mental illness.. my mon thought he is possessed.. she still believe so.. I came only to see what these guys claim theirselves.. So, the man just walk around and look at those setting, then he starts reciting things that you can't tell for sure what they are! Cuz you only see he's lips moving.. after that you hear him speaking supposedly with the Jin inside of the person and ask him to leave the body after declaring "divorce three times" this shows how this guy is ignorant of the rules of Sharia in the regard of divorce.
The main point is, when a man starts reading or reciting something, or gives an amulet, or asks you to put something.. hang something.. or put it underneath your bed... know that you're sitting with a magician.

When Allah makes a mention of this in Quranic verses 7:116, 20:66, instead of saying that they translated the ropes into serpents, he says It looked like that' and 'they mesmerized the eyes'. From the above we come to know that they have only succeeded in performing tricks. The people who perform
such tricks are only specified as sorcerers. "Sorcery" is only an art of tricks practically.The words used by Allah are sufficient to reveal nothing can be achieved practically by using this art of Sorcery.

In my village, it's their habit to use black magic to harm anyone they don't like. My father one of it. He was harmed by his friend used black magic because of wealth and power. Unfortunely, Allah has a big plan for him so he took him from me and so he died. He passed away through black magic and of course by permission of Allah and the qadr until i know that it's important to have a strong aqidah to stay away from what is called as black magic.

it not clear to those who inherit the earth in succession from its
(previous) possessors, that had We willed, We would have punished them
for their sins. And We seal up their hearts so that they hear not?101. Those were the towns whose story We relate unto you (O Muhammad ).
And there came indeed to them their Messengers with clear proofs, but
they were not such as to believe in that which they had rejected
before. Thus Allah does seal up the hearts of the disbelievers (from
each and every kind of religious guidance).102. And most of them We found not (true) to their covenant, but most of them We found indeed Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).103. Then
after them We sent Musa (Moses) with Our Signs to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and
his chiefs, but they wrongfully rejected them. So see how was the end
of the Mufsidun (mischief-makers, corrupts, etc.).104. And Musa (Moses) said: "O Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! I am a Messenger from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).105. "Proper
it is for me that I say nothing concerning Allah but the truth. Indeed I
have come unto you from your Lord with a clear proof. So let the
Children of Israel depart along with me."106. [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "If you have come with a sign, show it forth, - if you are one of those who tell the truth."107. Then [Musa (Moses)] threw his stick and behold! it was a serpent, manifest!108. And he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white (with radiance) for the beholders.109. The chiefs of the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "This is indeed a well-versed sorcerer;110. "He wants to get you out of your land, so what do you advise?"111. They said: "Put him and his brother off (for a time), and send callers (men) to the cities to collect (and) -112. "That they bring up to you all well-versed sorcerers."113. And so the sorcerers came to Fir'aun (Pharaoh). They said: "Indeed there will be a (good) reward for us if we are the victors."114. He said: "Yes, and moreover you will (in that case) be of the nearest (to me)."115. They said: "O Musa (Moses)! Either you throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw?"116. He
[Musa (Moses)] said: "Throw you (first)." So when they threw, they
bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them, and they
displayed a great magic.117. And We
inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Throw your stick," and behold! It
swallowed up straight away all the falsehoods which they showed.118. Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect.119. So they were defeated there and then, and were returned disgraced.120. And the sorcerers fell down prostrate.121. The belief of most of the Muslims regarding 'sihr' implies that they have not understood the way it has to be believed. If any person is given the status of Allah, then it is a blatant Association with God. It is also contrary to the belief that there is no one like Allah. If Allah desires to disable, to paralyze and to make a person bedridden, he can do such activities, which cannot be scrutable and without any help. if we believe that a human being can also act like that then it will imply that the person and god are one and the same. It will also be contrary to the basic tenant that there is no one like God. Similarly, people believe those who perform 'sihr' In the same way, if we believe, as performed by Allah, a Sorcerer can also harm a person, without any means, and then it is equivalent to associating partners to God. Are the 'sorcerer' and 'God' equal ? Why such a clear fundamental tenet of Islam is not known to us ? If we highlight this fact, then we are accused by some vested_interests, as m'uthasila' and 'kharijiya'. If 'kharijiya' says 'Allah is one', will they say adamantly 'Allah is two'? There is no such great Association of partners to God, except in believing, that The Sorcerer's will perform deeds similar to Allah.

You don't learn these things brother. You stay away from them and stay tight to the Quran and Sunnah. Nobody performs Ruqyah by investigating magic, they simply learn from the Quran and Sunnah and then do Ruqyah. Don't get too interested in these things brother. Keep your prayers up and follow the Sunnah.

it's something that is very prevalent these days. so it does need adressing.
Khadar Mal yeah it is something that's been constantly repeated, but sihr/black magic is becoming more and more prominent today and so many ppl are being hit with it, so why not shed some knowledge on it for others?
the prophets path and merciful servant have for the past month or so, been releasing lots of Jinn and possession vids. knowledge of this evil is important, but overexposure and over doing it can cause the people to think they're afflicted when they're not.
Well people shouldnt really be being over exposed to it unless they are searching for it on here.
