Everyone is sleeping on sphinx strawberry sugar high. It's a winner if you are looking for something sweet with a caramel marshmallow that's not cloying and it's definitely better lasting then the kayali's I've tried. Real affordable too. Just trying to help someone who is tired of following the hype and being let down like me.
@@terianag unfortunately Damascena didn't work for me. I ordered it twice because I thought maybe I got a dude. The notes were right up my alley. It was just a powdery mess both times. Nothing but powder. Didn't smell a rose at all. I was so surprised and disappointed. By your comment I think I must have got a bad batch both times. Maybe 3 times is the charm. I am not familiar with the one you compared it to but can you describe what Damascena smells like to you? Iay have to try it again.

I feel you, but honestly with inflation, I think it will be opposite. They’re going to be selling us scented water in the future and Kayali will be considered beast mode lol fragrances today arena as strong as before and it’s more expensive 😭

I prefer 100% to have a perfume that has a super great performance no matter if it costs almost double, rather than a relatively good priced perfume with awful performance. If they make an actual intense version of Vanilla 28 for like $200, I would buy it. If Philosophy makes an intense version of their Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere perfume for literally double their current price, I would buy it 100%. I just HATE perfumes that perform like B&BW mists
People are saying that the bubble gum pops out and so they are comparing it to Bubble Gum Pop from B&BW...but to me, it smells like Peach Prosecco and Macaron from B&BW....like a sugar cookie with the pink sugar sprinkles.... and I love it! This is the refined luxury perfume form of that fragrance in my opinion....will be layering them together! 😊 Also....it could pair well with Pear Brulee from B&BW as well!
The bubble gum note doesn't last long enough to be a true bubble gum scent. Ughhh I wish I had the opportunity to smell those b&bw mists! I've heard so many good things about them. I hope they start bringing out more gourmand fragrances. I'm glad you enjoy the perfume! 🩷
I felt that way about pistachio Gelato; it was gone in 3 hours, and a scent bubble lasted tops 5 hours, but other people would tell me they could still smell me at my job well into the day. I do over-spray and layer my scents, so maybe they were picking up something else. I'm getting the full size. Since this scent does have that cream note, I think it'll be a better performer next season.
Okay so we still have to wait for silk Santal lol I will try the travel size of this one . It sounds like it might be in the neighborhood of Eden sparkling where it’s not super unique but nice to wear . People didn’t like Eden sparkling but I like it ! I think it’s a fun summer scent . Thanks for the review, I will never buy their fragrance without smelling as a sample or in person via Sephora. I don’t have the same pressure as a RUclipsr. The previous Kayali scent smelled like an over priced fruity floral body spray, I could get from BBW or perfume I could get from there for a lot less. Not gonna fall for the hype train because perfume brand don’t understand what a real sweet gourmand is except alrehab choco musk and that cost less than ten bucks. I will keep using my 100 mil Kayali Vanilla 28 because it has aged and smells yummy now. Also I am not investing in skin scented perfume. If I bother to put it on I want others to smell it. You said it was soft, so this might be a pass. Ppl are offering lower quality but upping the prices. About fed up with designer and BBW reformulations, weaker oil concentrations and water down formulas.
I feel you on that these businesses be overcharging on their products some ppl get tired of spending their money and don't get the quality they paid for it .. Another hype fragrance company is the HOUSE OF SILLAGE I ordered a perfume from them during their sale literally smelled like nothing and when I did spray it on my clothes and skin both lasted like 20 30 minutes ......what's crazy is they be wanting $300-700 for their perfumes I feel like for that much the fragrance need to last all day
Girrrl! So true! I blind bought the Kayali Sparkling Lychee. It smelled 80% similar to BBW Champagne Toast and 90% like MixBar Sparkling Hibiscus and now they have a lychee and they are even more similar. I like it but not a live and you have to spray and overspray. It’s still weak and doesnt last for nothing and I have had it since it came out.
I got my 50ml during the “glitch” too😂. The prices were changing too from $89 to $102. But I managed to get mine for $89. They lowkey do this on purpose👀.
For me it reminds me of JPG La Belle, LaBelle is way more thick and syrupy sweet & Vanila Rock Candy is more airy. I will be layering JPG LaBelle with this ❤

I was at Sephora the day this was released fully prepared to buy the biggest bottle..AND halt&screech. No for me. Its too similar to JPG which i have and love. But i did buy a 10ml. I like it. But i may buy the big bottle anyway bc it performed really well on me&had great longevity (which is not the case with most kayalis). Thats the most important thing i look for in perfumes over $50. I will buy full bottles IF the performance is there.

Only if it doesn't bother you that it's present in the beginning. The dry down doesn't smell like bubblegum at all (at least to me). I did mention that I don't think it's worth a full bottle purchase. I would start with a small bottle and go from there. Hope this helps 🩷

I actually like the Mimic dupe because - the first blast is strong and sharp and the dry down is sweeter, and I think that’s the opposite of the og.

I think I want this more for the bottle than the actual juice. I do enjoy pear and violet forward fragrances. Not sure whether I should buy it or not.

It's noticeable at first, but the vanilla candy scent takes over. You can't smell the pear note on the dry down at all. Hope this helps 🩷
