I think this is what happened when they played succubus’s tell a story game and we left because we thought it was boring. So I’m assuming once they told the story and their candles burnt succubus killed each of them, but monstrous bird never told a story…I wonder if she’s still alive or if succubus is holding her captive, but succubus got arrested and isn’t even in the mansion anymore…
well, you’re a little right. but I can explain the full story from what I understood in the dialogues (this will contain spoilers): It was actually a Masquerade Party. However, during the party the electricity gone out and it was raining outside, so the guests were bored inside and wanted to pass time somehow. They all collectively decided to tell each other scary stories to pass the time. Succubus (sculptor) said to pick a random item from D.M’s (photographer/the host) surprise box and make a story out of the item. The story about the “rain” in this music video is Rainmaker’s (geisha) story. You can watch the video summary of the story she told about in chapter one. But after everyone else had told their story and went back to bed, there was a loud crash from her room. As the guests went to investigate, they saw her body wet from the rain and filled with broken shards from the window’s glass. Thus in this music video, you see Geisha’s body soaked. As for the “prince” it is Victor’s item in the Masquerade party. You can watch the video summary of his story in chapter two. After Rainmaker’s death and everyone went back to their respective rooms, Prince left Wick in the kitchen with the chefs to give his doggo a meal and went back to his room alone. In his last dialogue before dying, he mentioned wanting to drink the same red wine Rainmaker had in her room. After that, us, playing the detective, saw his no longer breathing body by his room. It’s so cool how these songs have similar themes but with different meanings. Bella Donna’s flower withers because it is beautiful and people spit on those with beauty until that beauty is eventually reduced to ash. Succubus’ candle blows out because fate is inevitable. Once a story begins it will eventually end. Life is just a story told over a rainy night under candlelight. (This is just my interpretation, there are many other ways to interpret this)

Exactly. The song reflects the real case that actually happened in the Melodis Manor in an imaginative way. Galatea killed Victor and Michiko due to not scoring a deal with DM. Emma is her next target but she escaped. Yet it is time for the "game" again so Succubus can only tell her own story and end it as well(She was arrested).
So theory that nobody asked for. Remember how D.M said this happened after the Golden Theatre event? We know that D.M ended up killing Lady Bella by giving Kroto the poison and Bella the belladonna which was a poisonous drug back then woman used to look beautiful. If D.M caused Bella to die and we move on, why did he invite them? It’s hinted at that Galatea is actually dead already but why would she killed both the Prince and Rainmaker? Of course she was jealous as shown but, I do think honestly D.M possessed her or something considering when they all told their stories (depending on who you picked) the other died just like the story. We know everyone’s items but what about monstrous bird? I do think D.M planned all of this to be honest since it was his mystery box and he did already kill Lady Bella. Mr.Inference is the one solving these cases and if you watched the Truth and Inference video we know D.M is their enemy. What is D.M doing? 🤔

Plus they might both be skins for the same character, they don't look alike at all, and if they were the same person, in the atropos ropes event Inference would've referred to them as DM instead of the client

Video Explanation: In the beginning, they are all holding items that correspond to the stories Sculptor tells them. Postman was holding a doll with a cuckoo-clock heart. In that story, a boy with the cuckoo heart is cursed to never love, or else his heart will literally break (Boy With The Cuckoo-Clock Heart). Geisha (Fairy/Goddess) is holding a teru teru bozu doll, a Japanese doll charm that's supposed to ward off rain. In the end, she was only able to make enough rain to save the emperor. Gardener is terrified by their corpses and attempts to run away. In the Fitcher's Bird (Gardener's story), she plays the older sister who is given a skeleton key by a sorcerer and instructed not to open a specific door. When she opens the door, the sorcerer finds her in the room and promptly kills her (the sculptor just teleports her back into the story room). In the end, the Sculptor is the only one left standing because she lives in her story
just a correction, the postman (the prince) story actually tells that he had his heart ripped out for lying to the tailor in hopes of reviving his dead dog. In the end, the dog comes back, But the prince sacrifices the most beautiful sapphire in the kingdom (his eye), the most beautiful piece in the palace (part of his brain), and a golden heart (his own heart), causing the dog to be reborn in the form of a robot (therefore his dog is mechanical). As for the lie, 2 of the tailor's sisters had already visited the prince and were unable to revive the dog. If he had told the truth to the tailor, his dog would have come back and he would not have had to die. But his explanation is correct in relation to the others.
Another thing, the Sculptor lives on in her story because the story is LITERALLY just her life and how she was jealous of her sister for getting the "doll" that was supposed to be hers. And knowing the Sucubbus, she probably engineered her sister's death to get what she wanted, she is greedy and has no limits to her actions.
This song reminds me of pasttimes. These times. 3rd Anniversary times. This song makes me feel so different that I cannot describe it with words. It reminds me of the event. The joy it gave me. Back then, I was enjoying this game and content like a monster. Now it doesn’t give the same feelings. Every match I participate in, every second I play any faction, I end up getting so angry that I feel like crying. Back then, there was no such feelings. I wasn’t aware what toxic is or stuff. During 3rd Anniversary, I was at my grandma’s. With my cousins, we used to sit near the sea, watch the waves and shout: “Naiad, we know you are here!” and ask questions like: “Do you like your family? If yes do a big wave. If no, do a small wave!” and when there is a small wave, we would just think that was just a regular wave and wait for a bigger wave. I wish I could go back to past :)
Y'know there is something about this game that makes it so magical when you first start out and then it gets repetitive, yet somehow you can come back to it. But I think the most important thing is the connections you can make. For me, it is abnormally easy to just vibe with anyone in this game and I feel at home, while most of the time I am way too shy to chat with people in games.

Exactly. The song reflects the real case that actually happened in the Melodis Manor in an imaginative way. Galatea killed Victor and Michiko due to not scoring a deal with DM. Emma is her next target but she escaped. Yet it is time for the "game" again so Succubus can only tell her own story and end it as well(She was arrested).

Remember how D.M said this happened after the Golden Theatre event? We know that D.M ended up killing Lady Bella by giving Kroto the poison and Bella the belladonna which was a poisonous drug back then woman used to look beautiful. If D.M caused Bella to die and we move on, why did he invite them?
It’s hinted at that Galatea is actually dead already but why would she killed both the Prince and Rainmaker? Of course she was jealous as shown but, I do think honestly D.M possessed her or something considering when they all told their stories (depending on who you picked) the other died just like the story. We know everyone’s items but what about monstrous bird?
I do think D.M planned all of this to be honest since it was his mystery box and he did already kill Lady Bella. Mr.Inference is the one solving these cases and if you watched the Truth and Inference video we know D.M is their enemy. What is D.M doing? 🤔

Plus they might both be skins for the same character, they don't look alike at all, and if they were the same person, in the atropos ropes event Inference would've referred to them as DM instead of the client

@@qlex1ss the fact that he talks to succubus about the case still doesn't mean anything, we can easily guess that the case and Mr Inference became widely known so there's nothing wrong with DM knowing about it (especially since DM and Inference know each other, which btw wasn't the case with the client) and in the end there's is nothing to connect both cases except the fact that they were both solved by Inference

Geisha (Fairy/Goddess) is holding a teru teru bozu doll, a Japanese doll charm that's supposed to ward off rain. In the end, she was only able to make enough rain to save the emperor. Gardener is terrified by their corpses and attempts to run away.
In the Fitcher's Bird (Gardener's story), she plays the older sister who is given a skeleton key by a sorcerer and instructed not to open a specific door. When she opens the door, the sorcerer finds her in the room and promptly kills her (the sculptor just teleports her back into the story room).
In the end, the Sculptor is the only one left standing because she lives in her story

just a correction, the postman (the prince) story actually tells that he had his heart ripped out for lying to the tailor in hopes of reviving his dead dog. In the end, the dog comes back, But the prince sacrifices the most beautiful sapphire in the kingdom (his eye), the most beautiful piece in the palace (part of his brain), and a golden heart (his own heart), causing the dog to be reborn in the form of a robot (therefore his dog is mechanical). As for the lie, 2 of the tailor's sisters had already visited the prince and were unable to revive the dog. If he had told the truth to the tailor, his dog would have come back and he would not have had to die. But his explanation is correct in relation to the others.

Another thing, the Sculptor lives on in her story because the story is LITERALLY just her life and how she was jealous of her sister for getting the "doll" that was supposed to be hers. And knowing the Sucubbus, she probably engineered her sister's death to get what she wanted, she is greedy and has no limits to her actions.

This song reminds me of pasttimes. These times. 3rd Anniversary times. This song makes me feel so different that I cannot describe it with words. It reminds me of the event. The joy it gave me. Back then, I was enjoying this game and content like a monster. Now it doesn’t give the same feelings. Every match I participate in, every second I play any faction, I end up getting so angry that I feel like crying. Back then, there was no such feelings. I wasn’t aware what toxic is or stuff. During 3rd Anniversary, I was at my grandma’s. With my cousins, we used to sit near the sea, watch the waves and shout: “Naiad, we know you are here!” and ask questions like: “Do you like your family? If yes do a big wave. If no, do a small wave!” and when there is a small wave, we would just think that was just a regular wave and wait for a bigger wave. I wish I could go back to past :)
Y'know there is something about this game that makes it so magical when you first start out and then it gets repetitive, yet somehow you can come back to it. But I think the most important thing is the connections you can make. For me, it is abnormally easy to just vibe with anyone in this game and I feel at home, while most of the time I am way too shy to chat with people in games.

I joined IDV S16 and this was the 1st idv anniversary i attended and u could literally feel the chills in this game but not the same feeling as now; Then i discovered the other events that i miss and they are so freaking cool such as the Astropo's Ropes! Wish we could turn back time :(
