Movie Summary:
Samidha, or "Sam," an Indian-American teen, tries to reject her culture to fit in, upsetting her mother, Poorna. Her estranged friend Tamira, a social outcast, carries a mysterious jar she claims holds a supernatural Pishach. When Sam breaks the jar, Tamira vanishes, and strange events unfold. Sam discovers the Pishach feeds on negative energy and must be sealed. After it attacks her family, Sam finds Tamira captive. To save everyone, Sam lets the Pishach inhabit her body. A year later, Sam and her family contain the entity by feeding it, but she worries it might escape.
