I did hear theory's about the walker apocalypse being caused by extra terrestrials looking to concur earth more efficiently.
Not a theory. It's true from what I remember. The director and creator explain it in a interview and comic.
There was an alternate ending to a chapter in the comics about rick getting abducted by aliens and they explain they started the apocalypse to steal all the water for themselves. It was kind of just a gag ending tho

The Father Gabriel actor was on point! And I don’t care how brave they try and make him now on the show, I just can’t forget how cowardly he was in the beginning. I loved this! I wouldn’t mind seeing a second ‘What If…?’

Hey man, that was pretty good how you mixed two stories together plus added a new chapter to a really old one. The only thing missing was that big dude from whisperers. As always, nice job on the Rick speech pattern. The guy who played Negen did well too. The head of the whisperers did great as well, almost looked like her.
I loved the surprise Tut appearance. I knew when he was getting attacked, before the reveal, something funny was at work lol. Tut is hilarious man.
Very smart spin on the idea. Love the creativity here
Given Shane being here means a definite interesting change in storyline...

Sooooo I think officially introducing the Whisperers during Negan's introduction would have been difficult to successfully write, but also much more preferable.
