I was still getting used to my phone (it's my first one) me and this girl were trying to exchange numbers, and I swear the number of your phone is not listed ANYWHERE. So eventually I just dialed her number so it would show mine on her phone XD
I feel that first scene so much. Had a very similar phone way back, and the sim card wasn't completely programmed, so the spot where the phone would normally list it was blank. This was extra frustrating as the line where the phone number should appear had no label so it wasn't even obvious it wasn't there, so I just thought it was listed somewhere else. Very much like her I spent like 20 minutes looking for it in increasing frustration.
