After I saw that out of order sign by the carousel’s ring machine, it made me not want to visit the Boardwalk anytime soon. However, if it works again later this month, then I’ll reconsider visiting the Santa Cruz Boardwalk this year.
It was working when I went a couple weeks ago when I went I don't know how unreliable it is and because tickets are quite pricey go check if the ring machine is working before you buy tickets 🎟️ hope it works for you and have fun

Yeah the first day what is a really hard to not go but it is one of my favorite parks
