Imagine going to a prison that consists of the same gangs that your gang has issues with and you're all doing hard time. There's no safety to get to and if you're fortunate enough to make it out, chances are, your environment and economic set back might put you right back in or worse.

@@Adultz94 What? 😂 First of all, being black isn't defined by struggling. There were ups and downs, but I grew more well-off than a lot of my peers and I'm proud and thankful of my parents for that. The goal is to not struggle, especially if it's self-inflicted, like whatever Rob did to land himself behind bars. Secondly, Dub and Ross made a reasonable assumption that Rob was acting, and that outlook colored their banter during the reaction. However, it clearly clicked for them after it was revealed that Rob was essentially born and raised black. Then they understood that outing Rob was a lot harder than it seemed. Anyone who's been immersed in a culture since birth has a really unfair advantage in a challenge like this. The direction Jubilee took is interesting to think about in terms of the Nature vs Nurture debate, but I think it would've been more entertaining if they'd used someone who really was acting.

2) they didn’t articulate that HE was acting, they kept saying that the *true* things he said from his *black* upbringing were false. His accent, his family reunion soundtrack and his views on the communities shortcomings were all authentic and due to Dub and Ross seeing a white guy the called those things false. When you become willingly obtuse over what is essentially skin tone that’s racist and pretty corny.
They didn’t come to any realization at the end, or else they would have said everything he said was true and they were being dumb which they didn’t

Secondly, suddenly something needs to be said verbatim for it to be picked up on? When was it said verbatim (or even remotely implied) that they felt uncomfortable that Rob supposedly lived a harder life than them? Haven't seen anyone else comment anything close to that. It's clear that Jubliee intended for their audience to believe that Rob was acting, which is how they usually go about setting up this type of challenge, but this time they wanted to play on expectations to create a shocking moment when the details of Rob's upbrining were reveleaed.
