yoojung's and somi's voices are unique. they have their own sense of technique when singing, like cutesy and loud notes, this song is more delicate and soft so their voices wouldn't fit the song at all. idk about pinky tho, i love her voice i wish she wasn't last.
Yoojung's voice is actually very fitting for all concepts. She's sang OST and she an sing slower songs like this one. Her voice though is better for happy and bright songs and OST's.

Lucas Perroni I agree, and for what it's worth, you can see how Pledis makes sure Nayoung and Pinky shines in Pristin with all their recent cover projects. Yet, during Produce 101, guess due to grouping/she might feel more confident in rap, thus she is pretty much 'stuck' as IOI main rapper. in my analysis, IOI doesnt really have strong rapper beside Nayoung and Yoojung. Yoojung is a bit stronger in singing in comparison to Nayoung, so she is more flexible to be switched around(like in Very Very Very, whereby JYP chose Mina to rap alongside Nayoung). but yeah, you are right, Nayoung is able to sing~

She has a very beautiful unique voice, but during most I.O.I promotions I kept getting tired of kinda just hearing her voice all the time, and not hearing the others. I think she finished this song beautifully, but it was nice not having all the attention on her for once.

I'll be honest, I like ioi and all but I'm happy they made one last farewell song for ioi but the line given to Pinky was unfair. I am not hating but I think she honestly deserves more. She always gets very little lines that do not reflect her vocal talent. For those of you who says that the lines are distributed to those who sound better, I think that for the short 6 seconds Pinky had, it was nice and she can easily nail the other parts as well. perhaps, except for the chorus with falsetto (this is because they never showed whether or not Pinky can do falsetto or not anyways) -see! there's already an example of how much we do not understand and know about the capabilites of the members since some of their abilities are slept on or forgotten. also Idk if I need to remind you but Pinky placed 6th out of 11 which is rather high.
Pinky is my bias in Pristin and it's sad to see that she's last in a lot of ioi's songs. She's an amazing dancer, singer and person. IOI is been a wonderful experience for everyone but i'm happy Pinky and Nayoung will have more time to shine in Pristin. (sorry for my bad english lol)

Why is everyone complaining about Pinky not having more than this person or that person? Did we forget she was the main vocalist for the IOI subunit AND took up more lines and screen time than the other members? She got to shine a lot during that time. No hate, I just don't want people to think she didn't get the chance to show what she could do despite garnering a lot of attention during Produce 101 for her VISUALS and being the main vocal, which put Chungha, Yoojung, and Somi as more of the lead vocalists.
Pinky was never main vocal in IOI or even the sub unit. She had a lot of lines and high note in Whatta Man but it's only because she suits girl crush, powerful songs while Downpour is a ballad and Dream Girls/Very Very Very is cutesy, pop music where her vocals aren't that much suitable.

For those of you who says that the lines are distributed to those who sound better, I think that for the short 6 seconds Pinky had, it was nice and she can easily nail the other parts as well. perhaps, except for the chorus with falsetto (this is because they never showed whether or not Pinky can do falsetto or not anyways) -see! there's already an example of how much we do not understand and know about the capabilites of the members since some of their abilities are slept on or forgotten. also Idk if I need to remind you but Pinky placed 6th out of 11 which is rather high.

Pinky is my bias in Pristin and it's sad to see that she's last in a lot of ioi's songs. She's an amazing dancer, singer and person. IOI is been a wonderful experience for everyone but i'm happy Pinky and Nayoung will have more time to shine in Pristin. (sorry for my bad english lol)

Why is everyone complaining about Pinky not having more than this person or that person? Did we forget she was the main vocalist for the IOI subunit AND took up more lines and screen time than the other members? She got to shine a lot during that time. No hate, I just don't want people to think she didn't get the chance to show what she could do despite garnering a lot of attention during Produce 101 for her VISUALS and being the main vocal, which put Chungha, Yoojung, and Somi as more of the lead vocalists.
Pinky was never main vocal in IOI or even the sub unit. She had a lot of lines and high note in Whatta Man but it's only because she suits girl crush, powerful songs while Downpour is a ballad and Dream Girls/Very Very Very is cutesy, pop music where her vocals aren't that much suitable.

I'm happy for them because one) they made it this far two) I'm celebrating all the good moments we've had with them and three) because now they actually can debut with their group as better and prepared members (most of them have debuted at the time I have posted this comment.) I'm just sad because they were the perfect girl group, if only all of them were just trainees who joined a competition that promised a permanent spot in a permanent girl group. They had everything the perfect idol group had and even more. They could've been the biggest and best girl group in Kpop history if only it wasn't just a year. Honestly, I thank IOI for giving me happy moments and enlightening me. If only.
