What's the length of the cords, which were added later to the main cord??

You need to times the length and width by 4, that is the ratio for the correct length of rope you will need :)
If I want the final length to be wider/deeper, should I just continue with the knots/more rows? I understand that you had plenty of scraps…or should I use more length since the beginning?

They’re not, I have lots of waste, I’ll be able to use it as fringe for other projects but it’s quite a bit. It’s a fun project though! My daughters love them, they recently got loft beds and this is perfect for the corners of the room where their beds are 😄

@Rock Mountain Co, did you use 5mm or 8mm? There’s a difference and it will also effect the length needed.
