"Columbus didn't discover shit either", This is just one of the reasons I love you. I posted a video of Native Americans in full ceremonial dress dancing on Indigenous Day/Columbus Day. Native American women are creating makeup lines! 💙 Cheekbone Beauty/Canada, Prados Beauty/ New Mexico. Have ordered from both. As I find them I will let you know if that is OK. I'm hoping women, especially in the US consider giving these beautiful women a hand up. I ordered that Scorpio and Cancer palette on your recommendation. Beautiful, these little palettes would be such a great Christmas Gift to a girlfriend. That Scorpio is bomb, haven't touch the Cancer yet You look absolutely stunning today and it's only Monday! 💜
I think Trixie Mattel has talked about Prados, a few times. 👍🏻 Not beauty related, at all... But if you like the comfort of Uggs, but would rather pay around the same amount to help support a native-Canadian company, there is Manitobah Mukluks. They do absolutely beautifully hand-beaded mukluks and moccasins. Generally made from rabbit fur, sheepskin interior, and suede bottoms, along with Vibram soles. I live in Canada, and have some mobility issues. Winter is scary. I was always looking for winter boots with a softer sole, so I could actually feel what was going on under me, and adjust my balance in time not to fall on my arse. Almost all winter boots are hard soled, and really, really slippery. 😣 The Vibram soles on these mukluks allow you more control, plus, they're so, so warm, and so perfectly beautiful in every way. I've had mine for around 5 years, now. As long as you take care of them (keep the suede treated, wipe them down, if they get dirty), they'll stay beautiful and warm for a long time. Can't recommend them enough.
@@Acidfunkish It's too bad they're yet another company that doesn't make the pretty girl boots in a women's 13. Wisconsin gets cold and I'd have asked for some.
Edited to add: 100% yes to a Natasha D. ranking video! Just clicked, still waiting for the ad to finish, but I wanted to say I'm SO excited for this video! I really really love videos like this (eyeshadows and favorite lists.. what more can a girl ask for?!? 😍😍😍), so this was a very pleasant and much needed surprise!! Hope everyone is having a great day so far and that your week is an awesome one!
People always talk about how hard it is to formulate purples, but I think Yellows are the real challenge. And I loooooovvvveeeee yellow eyeshadow. Okay Glam Shop, Ima take a look.
I feel as though sometimes I know your makeup collection better than my own so I had fun just guessing which palettes I thought you would pick 🤣😜 I was dead on with the rainbow palettes and just knew Passion in Paris and Blue Moon would show up in their respective categories. Weirdly very proud
I am fixing me something to eat, while I look/ listen to you and when you said "hell Columbus didn't discover anything 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I dropped my plate and scared my poor kitty. So worth it. I can't stop laughing lol.
When Angie said that abt Columbus, I laughed so hard that I almost spit out the coffee I was drinking onto my open work laptop 🤣🤣 Columbus "discovering" America is like me, living in Manhattan, discovering Brooklyn...you can't discover a land where other people already live
Your kaleidos palette is absolutely FIRE!!!! You could have saved me thousands of dollars had your palette come out one year sooner. I wear it more than any palette I own and that’s roughly 80 palette’s to choose from.
Absolute yes to the ND video! I am circling now the idea of getting one for myself as a Christmas gift but not sure what. I have swatched them in Sephora Stockholm years ago, when Biba came out and the quality felt extraordinary but haven't jumped the gun. Btw Metropolis I just checked and found it on her website and LookFantastic's Finnish website. None discounted tho.
I'd be interested in a Natasha Denona "Which Palette is for You" sort of like how Kinky Sweat did for Pat McGrath. But whatever you want. I'm still down for the monocromatics when I feel like it. I've got the pistascio palette from BH and have been thinking about the orange one because I can never find enough oranges in my random smattering of palettes to get the variety I'm looking for. Granted, the urge probably comes with late summer/fall, and also not knowing if/when they'll stop selling those.
My favorite palettes are all neutral so I’m gonna help you out on that side Angie 😂: Top 3: ABH “Sultry” for cool toned neutrals, Natasha Denona “Bronze palette” for your warm toned, gold neutrals and Oden’s Eye Alva Palette for your pinks and mauvy neutrals. Lunar Beauty Eclipse palette is gorgeous but I would not consider it a neutral color story. It’s blue and silver with some browns. Just my two cents 😜🤗
I just have to say this: my friend "accused" me of turning into you when I bought the Passion in Paris this August. Obviously meant as compliment and I was thrilled about it 😁. I do love deep, dark mattes ❤️
I just used the Blue Moon palette with the Mint to Be palette yesterday, and I forgot how much I love blues. It was one of my favorite eyeshadow looks I've done! Yes, the Lush palette is 😍😍😍!
Ha! I just counted mine up & found I have 40 palettes too. The only Pat McGrath I own is the Celestial Divinity, but I love it, even w/ the $78 price tag. Tbt, most my collection is made up of Melt, BH & Colourpop. I still can't believe BH is going bankrupt 😲🤯
I am with you in that not every palette needs a light or dark brown! Most of us have similar shades so I feel like those shades could be easily replaced with something else in more colorful palettes. You listed quite a few of my faves (the Lush Life & Passion in Paris especially - I finally bought the Paris palette after you raved about it and LOVE it - it's easily become my favorite of the year) and so many other good ones. And I LOVE that eye look, I can't wait to see the video on it!
It's ok that some people like different things, that would be one I wouldn't watch because I don't get into those specialty and indie stuff that can be hard or expensive to get.
Meanwhile at 2pm in Sweden: *darkness* Angie saying blue is scary territory for people.. I'm just sat here like "you'll never see me in orange/warm neutrals"
I forgot that glamshop yellow palette, that one is pretty stunning! Gonna use that tomorrow along with the metropolis and pistachio bh palette for a green yellow look 😊 Really enjoyed this video! Fun to see what all your faves are
I love Juvia's place palettes , I have their Nubian 1 and 3 , great quality with affordable prices 👌and they are sometimes 30% off on Ulta also you can use their coupons on that brand ! I have tried their duos bronzers and blush and was impressed !
Yep, love Blue Moon. A fantastic range of pure blues and I love all of CP's monochromatic palettes. I have all of the rainbow and the lilac, mint, and peach ones. Beautiful
My fav neutral palette is Viseart's original "neutral #1", my fav monochromatic palette is Urban Decay Naked 3, my fav colourful palette is your colab with Kaleidos' Club Nabula.
I have all of the Sweet Shoppe palettes, now (mom kept bugging me to "finish the set," because I wouldn't STFU about how much I liked the others, so I bought Sugar Cone as a bronzer palette). 😅 They are absolutely some of my top favourites, ever. The mattes in them are like Shroud quality, but at only $18, or whatever they were. Huge pans, too. I still take them out weekly, because they're an absolute joy to use. Quality is 👌🏻! High high pigment, but they still blend like a friggin' dream. I think I prefer the Glamlite Paint PRO palette, for my "one" rainbow palette. The Cake palette has pretty objectively the cuter packaging, but I prefer the organisation and general tones in the Paint PRO. Mattes on the outside, and then only a few shimmers on the inside. I ordered the Blend Bunny palettes around a week or two ago? They were saying that USPS could take 1-3 months to get them here, and I'm in Canada, so I thought it would take nearer the max amount of time. 😳 They're already in my city! I'm so hyped. Mattes are my ❤️. 🤗 If the mattes are as good as I've heard, I'm throwing out the Beauty Bay 42 Mattes. I bought that, hoping it would be my ONE huge matte necessities palette, but I do not enjoy the quality. 😕 It's okay, for how much I paid for it (like $14, or something)... But I could never learn to predict which shades would go patchy, or when, even 8 months later. I don't declutter often, but that palette has let me down so many times! 😬 Fruit flies have been persistent pests, this year. Everyone seems to be having trouble with them. Us, included, until it almost became true winter. 😒
They Beauty Bay matte palette is a favorite for when I need a matte that's not in a palette and I want it for a transition, or I want to use Inglot mixing liquid work or to make a custom eyeliner. It was on sale for $10 for a while, they might have discontinued it. It performs well enough for what I need, and I generally do a brush swatch of anything I haven't used in a while or ever on my arm.
I own the entire BH Sweet Shoppe collection too, but I'm not a neutrals girl, so I never find myself reaching for Sugar Cone, but using it as a bronzer/contouring palette is such a great idea. Thx. Hadnt thought of that & hated it going to waste.
Im just gonna mention my top eyeshadow formulas- violet voss , trixie cosmetics, colourpop ( good version) and bh cosmetics ( good version) and sigma. lorac is very underrated formula also imo
That Metropolis palette got such hard pan on me. I bought it right when it launched and I wanted to love it, but the 2 deep blues look almost exactly the same and all those greens turn wicked yellow on my eyes. The color story could benefit from a black instead, TBH. But it’s too neutral for my liking.
If you want a ND palette but can’t find them like the gold or metropolis alter ego does a lot of dupes and the color stories are pretty spot in, and the quality is really good for the price
Norvina ended up being my favorite ABH palette & the most recently purchased.(Before Norvina my fave was Modern Renaissance) It was half off during a sale earlier this year so I picked it up not really expecting much but curious. It pairs amazingly well with the Jackie Aina palette which I wasn't using much because it's just not a stand alone palette for me. The 2 palettes combined give me the full range of depth, color & texture options that I like in an eyeshadow palette. One of the reasons I didn't buy more ABH was because I couldn't get everything I wanted from ONE palette. Modern Ren was my basic neutral palette that I used with other shimmers & more colorful palettes. But I've since moved on to matte formulas I like more from Indie Brands & there are definitely better shimmers out there.
Loved this video and just literally get so much enjoyment watching you talk about makeup (eyeshadow palettes) in general because you have SO much PASSION behind what your saying because you just really LOVE makeup that much & tbh I have watched so many influencers over the past three years but have never found anyone who has the true PASSION for it like you do and it is SO infectious to me because that is EXACTLY how I get when I am talking about makeup and of course my family and friends are not lovers of makeup like me so when I watch you I am always smiling and thinking to myself "Omg Yes that's exactly what I was thinking " or "Oh exactly yes that's so true " and then I think "damb Ang we should DEFINITELY be Friends" ...
Hi, I’m sort of new to watching your channel. I have learned so much from your tutorials. I also really love to watch your reviews. I absolutely love that you are not a makeup snob and have an awesome variety products you recommend. I just ordered a couple pallets from Color Pop and can’t wait to try them. Thank you so much!
It’s interesting because everyone raves about the colourpop pressed powder eyeshadows, but I don’t really like it. However, I think the quads are a much better quality, especially the mattes. Maybe that is why they are priced a bit higher than the bigger palettes. Different formula.
Great picks! I'm so happy that you did a top 3 eye shadow palette video! I love the Blue Moon palette. Juvia's Place eye shadows are bomb! Bh did a great job on the Sweet Shoppe palettes, glad I brought all of them!Love Metropolis one of my favorite ND. Getting Retro palette during the Sephora sale. Fun video!
I so look forward to Monday to see your content all week. Such a great bonus that it was about eye pallets and nice and long. All my favorite things ❣️
The Colourpop Lush Life palette looks a lot like the OPV Beauty Tropical Dreams palette… even the packaging is similar, just a different colour palette. Looks like it was HEAVILY used as inspo for the Lush Life palette.
Yesssss yes yes to the Natasha denona ranking! I was off the ND eyeshadow train for a few years after sunset and Lila, but I got the retro and am so in love, was really intrigued to try her cream to powder formula. Now Im interested in most of her more recent palettes, and the minis...
This inspired me to pull out the palettes I also have like the Violette etendu & the Norvina. My ND palettes are already always top shelf lol. I do think I’ll be picking up Lush Life too.
I was trying to save the video for later 🙃 can’t wait. Watching it during lunch. Recently purchased the Humming bird palette from Odens eye and the colors were easy to work with so your recommendations are always great
I have…too many rainbow palettes 😂😂 my top 3 are the beauty bay brights palette (the one with shimmers), colourpop’s fade into hue and sample beauty’s paradigm shift II
Boy I love this one.talking about eyeshadow palettes is one of my fav things to talk about said the girl that has 68 palettes and counting.neutrals:going coconuts, 🌈:trendy in Tokyo, colorful: born to run, grungy: club nebula, mono:just my luck, glam:texture vol 1, mini:elf bite size, affordable:afrique, high end:zendo.
I had to chuckle when you said that you don’t recommend The Taupes from Juvia’s Place because it’s my favorite eyeshadow palette for a soft makeup look. Lol It just goes to show that we as consumers have varying opinions and preferences. 😊 Thanks for sharing! I always enjoy watching your favorites videos. ❤️
So excited, I must have been channeling your energy because I bought bh cosmetics "Passion in Paris" earlier this month with my October monthly palettes! I wasn't sure if I wanted the Paris palette but I thought I had to have it for some reason. It is beautiful 😍 ❤
P.S. Please rank Natasha Denona because I have no idea which one is great for the money to buy one? ALSO, do you think the ColourPop "LushLife" is a good replacement for Juvias "tribe" palette? Since the tribe is discontinued, I would like a palette close to that! What are your thoughts 🤔
My current favorite palettes are vanity makeup palette ,pat McGrath celestial odyssey, odens eye giant wolves, urd ,Natasha denona retro, sugar drizzle pickle palette 🥰beauty bay age of opulence
The worrier palette has been my token brown palette for a couple years lol. I recently got the Natasha denona glam palette so now I have a couple neutrals to pick from.
I was trying to think if have any actual rainbow palettes. My closest would be Tina's humming bird palette I think. Also, Pastel Dreams. My favorite neutral palette is Ambiance. For minis I appreciate having the 5 pans from Dose of Colors. Hot buttered Rum really was a favorite for a long time. I should pull it out this fall. Juicy Olive I think should count but it's so big I didn't immediately think of it. It is great.
For the past few weeks, I have been trying to pick my plan for buying Natasha denona pallets. It’s so hard! I have Retro. So happy with it. I want to pick a few mini’s. Particularly which to go for a midi and which to go for the mini.
loved the video, would love a ND one and will be waiting for a "top 3 pastel palette". I have none and will wait for your ranking to choose one ;) LOVE ranking videos and "top #" stuff
My preferred...Viseart (Lilas but other attendu, big palettes or quads. Any Viseart. And Denona of course, minis and medium ones like metropolis, glam, retro, golden.... For duo Chrome Lethal Cosmetics. And about Drugstore, Colourpop and maybe one from Maybelline.
Thanks for this video! It encouraged me to revisit some of my collection and cherish it! Deffo inspired from this video and currently wearing urd from oden's eye 😁
neutrals: I only have one neutral palette and it's bh Beautiful in Barcelona. I love that it has deep mattes that have a bit of a berry tone on me. it also has a couple blues, which is my favourite rainbow: I have 2 rainbow pallets and its Sugar Crystals by violet voss and the bh collab pallet with Raye Raye. I'm gonna be honest, BH didn't have a great formula back then. Sugar Crystals on the other hand has amazing quality. the mattes are bright and blendable and the metallics have that creamy formula and go on so smooth. Monochromatics: I have the sweet shop cherry on top and the violet voss sweet violet pallet. I actually used the cherry on top as blush as well as shadow and its excellent. the sweet violet is great too if you want something TINY and love purple. mini pallets: I have two of the tiny bh 16 pan pallets, Midnight City and Romantic Nomad. They arent as great of quality as the blueberry muffin formula or travel series, but it's definitely something that will give you good results. They're great if you like makeup you can just put in your purse but still want a big variety of shades. They also both have duochromes. Affordable: BH blueberry muffin and Passion in Paris. excellent formulas with well curated colour stories. I'm all about blues and purples and silvers and smoky deep tones and those pallets completely encompass that. I feel like a sultry fairy when I wear those pallets. High end: I love the violet voss Sea you later for the formula as well as the fun colours. I really think that was an underhyped pallet. I have the UD stoned vibes pallet and I like the formula of the shimmers a lot and that its colourful but toned down. It also looks beautiful on my vanity, the packaging is art. I dont have much for high end because I dont want to spend that much, BUT ALSO, I am a colour lover, and a majority of the high end brands tend to cater to people who are professionals who maybe cant wear colours to their jobs, so when I go into sephora, there usually isnt much eyeshadow for someone like me. I know a lot of people gave ABH crap about norvina and launching so many pallets (including Alyssa Edward's and Riviera, have both and love them) but they were one of the few high end brands I saw taking any risk with colour stories and I honestly appreciated that. I hope norvina continues to make interesting bold eyeshadow pallets and be the face of colour in sephora.
Norvina is the only palette I've panned every shade in. In 2019 I did a 50 looks 1 palette challenge with it; on look number 50 I hit pan in the 2 last shades.
Yeeeees, love the videos where you talk about eyeshadow! What a treat to start my morning 🥰 Hope you are having a great day, Angie! 💙 Love from México 🇲🇽
Hahaha! "This is like the beginning of a Bailey Sarian video and my neighbor is hiding dead bodies in the attic..." Oh Angie, you crack me up. Also, I've noticed that "Lush Life" and BHCosmetics' "Peridot" are quite similar. I don't regret owning both because they are different enough and I can go way deeper with "Lush", but they have a similar vibe.
That first palette reminds me of Pat McGrath decadence. Surprised with colourpop having the more interesting color stories. I haven’t wanted a new palette in a while because I have such a large collection that I barely use because I don’t wear eyeshadow to work.

If the mattes are as good as I've heard, I'm throwing out the Beauty Bay 42 Mattes. 😬
Fruit flies have been persistent pests, this year.
Glamlite palettes always make me think of summer. Love em!
Or if you want the colors for an event but don't think you'll wear them much. I also get bored with palettes so it's better to not go broke on them.
Blue eyeshadow has made such a comeback, I find myself reaching for Colourpop Blue Moon, BH Bubble Gum & Blueberry Muffin a lot lately 💙
Found you because of Tati! And I love your content ❤️
I finally decided about a month ago to bite the bullet and add Metropolis to my order when the Love Palette was half price.... Boy! Am I glad I did! 😁
I found myself searching if the "best 2021 palettes" videos are out already this morning, so this was a pleasant surprise when i got home tonight!
Love the juvias pallets bought all three worriors pallete along with the bronze collections. They are so pigment and blendable.
Wahahaha, the dead bodies in the closet(the neighbor), you are so funny, I like your humor!
Fun video!
LOVE this idea! Thank you!
Eyeshadow palettes, yeeees, my favorite category 💜💜💜 happy Monday, Angie
The cytrynada is AMAZING, i totally agree
I wore eyeshadow I think less than 10 times in my life, but I still watch almost all of your videos 😍
I so look forward to Monday to see your content all week. Such a great bonus that it was about eye pallets and nice and long. All my favorite things ❣️
Yes I have that Blushed rose pallete its amazing!!
Totally agree with you on the ABH Norvina, it absolutely should have had a deep dark purple as an anchor shade instead of that weird orange!
The Capricorn pallette is my absolute favorite all matte rainbow pallette! 🌈
I recently got the bronzed and rose Juvia’s pallettes on a deal and they are my favorite of all my Juvia’s shadows!!
Everytime i think i have picked out a favorite make up look of yours, you suprise me with another one
I love videos where people revisit their stash!
The Glam Shop yellow palette is my all time favorite 🤩
This inspired me to pull out the palettes I also have like the Violette etendu & the Norvina. My ND palettes are already always top shelf lol. I do think I’ll be picking up Lush Life too.
I was trying to save the video for later 🙃 can’t wait. Watching it during lunch. Recently purchased the Humming bird palette from Odens eye and the colors were easy to work with so your recommendations are always great
YES to eyeshadow palette videos of any kind!!! My faves! :)
Hmmmmm now I’m thinking about that Viseart palette ! I love the Retro, Glam and Bronze palettes from ND!! You should try the Bronze !!
I have…too many rainbow palettes 😂😂 my top 3 are the beauty bay brights palette (the one with shimmers), colourpop’s fade into hue and sample beauty’s paradigm shift II
I have similar tastes and love all those brands. Maybe it's my wallet that loves them.

Love watching you videos. Just want to mention that ColourPop's Fade Into Hue is my favorite rainbow palette 🌈
I had to chuckle when you said that you don’t recommend The Taupes from Juvia’s Place because it’s my favorite eyeshadow palette for a soft makeup look. Lol It just goes to show that we as consumers have varying opinions and preferences. 😊
Thanks for sharing!

This was so fun. I have to do this video eventually. I just love eyeshadow palettes. Thanks for sharing.
Yes please on ranking ND palettes, please.
Yes, please . . . would love a ranking of Natasha Denona palettes.
I am always so tempted on buying the Metropolis Palette…😅😅😅
Love this Video!!!!! 😊😊😊
Glad you still did something with eyeshadow palettes! Such a fun video, definitely thinking about filming something like this as well :D
Thanks for this video! It encouraged me to revisit some of my collection and cherish it! Deffo inspired from this video and currently wearing urd from oden's eye 😁
I love a lot of the palettes you mentioned and can't wait to check out the others! 🤩🤩🤩
THIS VIDEO IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED ANGIE THANK YOUU!!!
So excited for this!!
The ND Metropolis palette reminds me of Bh Cosmetics Beautiful in Barcelona palette. It has the same vibe with the warm neutrals and the pop of blue.
Definitely interested in a video ranking your Natasha Denona palettes!
neutrals: I only have one neutral palette and it's bh Beautiful in Barcelona. I love that it has deep mattes that have a bit of a berry tone on me. it also has a couple blues, which is my favourite
rainbow: I have 2 rainbow pallets and its Sugar Crystals by violet voss and the bh collab pallet with Raye Raye.
What a treat to start my morning 🥰
Hope you are having a great day, Angie! 💙 Love from México 🇲🇽
Hi Angie! 🙋🏾Ooooh, a palette video!
👀☕😘
This was fun! Eyeshadow is my favorite thing to play with. Thank you!
