The A45 AMG have an additional air duct that is secured with 3x 8mm fasteners on the under tray that needs to be removed first, other than that it is identical to the process in this video
Hey! Thanks for the feedback 🙏 the sensor that was disconnected here was for the pedestrian protection system, some cars will have this and some do not depending on specification options!
@@redec13 Open your bonnet and have a look at the bonnet hinges and see if it has the actuators, if it doesn’t have them and there is an empty space it’s more than likely your car doesn’t have the pedestrian protection system. I actually have a W176 A class and my one does not have it
@jackgross3140 i have scan the ecu and have found 2 errors B273787 and B273687 impact sensor has a malfunction. Thank you for your time and attention man.
How is the undercover (part being unscrewed at 0:40) mounted to the bumper? I need to replace just that cover and I'm wondering if it can be done without fully removing the bumper
Installation is the same but in reverse, take care to line up the brackets that protrude on the back side of the grill into the centre of the slots beside the headlamps
Did you reinstall the radar sensor correctly? If it is mis aligned it can cause issues. Sometimes they need a calibration drive using the Mercedes diagnostics equipment. I would make sure all parking sensors are plugged in correctly as well as main wiring harness connector 👍
Broooooo I just wanted to remove the emblem on top of the bumper 💀all this hassle, im death… I hate the fact they changed the position of that emblem from the hoody to the top. Any way I can replace it with another one by NOT REMOVING THE WHOLE BUMPER…
@@jackgross3140 I actually saw some videos after this one that you can, thank god. But there seems to be one problem I found. They don’t make the 3D type of emblems anymore for these type of cars am I correct? Do you think there is a website where they do? Because I know it’s kinda illegal because of safety issues. They allow it on old cars but no on the new ones anymore. Still I don’t mind the fine if they do but would love to see a site where they still build it for the new Mercedes’ bumbers

Love you POV vision approach. That is the good and proper way to make a - how-to - video. Thank you !
Thank you for the positive feedback 👍
Great video..gonna paint my front bumper next weekend to get ready to sell it. Minor damage. This is gonna help me so much.
Happy days! Thanks for the positive comment 😁
Would this be the same process for a 2015 A45 AMG??
Yes exactly the same

What tool did u use for the 10mm bolts attaching bumper to wings
Just a normal ratchet and socket
Hi man. Thanks for sharing your work and dedication on this video. On 3:17 the sensor you disconnect, what's called?

Hello, it is fixed to the bumper inside using rivets, they need drilling out and requires the front bumper to be removed unfortunately
@@jackgross3140 Thanks for getting back so quickly! That's unfortunate :(

Cuanto tiempo tarda el proceso en remover el bumper? Es claro que el video pues es resumido entonces quisiera saber cuanto tarda en total
What's the name of the sensor you first disconnected on right side of inner wheel arch?
It’s the main wiring harness connector for the front bumper
@Jack Gross is the connector to get power to parking sensors? My bumper is amg line so no fog lights?
@@verroch12345 yes will be for the parking sensors
Did this cause any sensors to be triggered?

Is there a video on how to install the bumper back on

👍nice simple how too not hours of bs thanks again for your time to share
I try to be straight to the point unlike a lot of how to videos👍

After installing my grill new my sensors have been going off while I’m driving and it keeps braking, any reason for this?

You can remove it by using a thin plastic trim removal tool and prying it out carefully
