Nightcore is typically a sped up variation of songs, most are pretty low-effort which is probably the cause for anti-nightcore being born to spite those ones in a sense
@@SAN-BAK_AND_BUE_ Yeah, nightcore is speeding song up + highering pitch, and anti-nightcore is the opposite. It wasn't created to spite anything afaik though, because group claiming to be inventors of anti-nightcore did upload nightcores for years themselves on the channel ULmadM5. Last person in the group stopped uploading videos about 3 months ago, saying that he is leaving for now because he feels burned out, but may or may not return in the future.
