"People in Norway are friendly".. wow! thank u for this one! I`ve gotten the impression that Norwegians are considered "cold", "difficult to get in touch with", "NO eye contact on the streets" -according to a few people in Quora (Forum). Good to hear that not everyone shares their opinions. Having travelled to cities like Copenhagen, Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Cologne..or Sydney ,Australia for that matter, I haven`t really noticed much (if any) difference between how people behave on the streets or on public transport,compared to Oslo.I always try to help people on the streets, whenever I see them standing there with a city map, looking a bit lost. Especially in summer, when crowds of tourists are coming (NOT this year, of course, due to covid19). Never been to India, but it is one of my top 3 travel destinations on the planet. Used to have an Indian friend some years ago, she studied biology at the University of Oslo, she taught me many food recipes that I still make from time to time. Namaste from Oslo!

Thanks for the video! I was wondering what's the average cost of living in or near downtown Oslo, if you got an idea? I'll be moving there next month for a job.
Thanks for the comment buddy. See the major cost is for renting, if you are coming alone then you can get a shared apartment for about 6-8k per month and then food will be around 2k, and transport around 1k. So max per month it should be around 11k-12k.

I live in British Columbia -Canada and i love the city and have been living here for past ten years .
Canada is multicultural society and we live like a family members and respect all denomination.
we do not have language problem English is our first language and than French.
As far the medical is concern we have excellent service and we go to our general practitioner and if GP thinks that we needs further investigation on the health problem than we get a referral .
The province i live we do not get snow but we have lots of rain some of the months and it does not last long.
There is no restriction as far the visa is concern one can travel to any county.
Some of the provinces properties prices are high and low and this depend in which province one is living. .
Cost of living is high and it entirely depends on the person how fat is his/her wallet and which profession the person is holding..

Hello sir and mam, I am from India. I am a graphic designer and a video editor by profession but its been a long time I am working for a Norway based company on Freelance basis. Now the owner just asked me like do you have any future plans regarding settling here and my answer was yes because as a country I like Norway very much. So what precautions should I take so that I could avoid any scam/mishappening because I've never met the owner in person yet.
Dear Akshay, first of all try to have a Video Meeting with him/her. and then ask for work contract and when you get it then let me know. Also, don't give any money to anyone who guarantees you job in Norway.
