Bro, greetings from Argentina. Im a owner of a fxr, I got a question. What's the tube measure for extract the spark, it's to deep the hole.

You will need a deep 16mm socket and a extension. Will be easier if the socket is a proper spark plug socket that is either magnetic or has a rubber to grip the spark plug.

How is it so light ? Can you lighten the fxr ?

    • @TheMotorcycleForge

Forks are super short, the alloy frame and magnesium wheel are a big part of the light weight as well.
Yes you can lighten a fxr. Standard a fxr is around 118kg I got my other race fxr down to around 100kg, alloy clip ons, lighter rear sets, no starter motor, lithium battery, race tail peice and I lightened many of the factory parts and replaced bolts with lighter bolts, lighter wiring loom 😅 it took ages haha

What cams did you fit and what timing? be keen for a 20bhp fxr motor with a 57mm top end on it in the UK

The current cam's are a lumpy version that I came up with. The cams I removed were around the 24 these ones are a experiment haha.
They were this grind here under kelford.
      www.fxr150.co.nz/forum/archive/index.php/t-786.html
Im going to test them today at the race track and see how they go then I may try some different timing.
This engine has bigger valves and a highly modified intake to get around that 24hp. Mathematically speaking if you did everything the same you would get 19th at the wheel as this is 156cc.
Hope this helps and if there is anything else you wanna know just ask.

Sweet dude! We endurance race a Sachs with the FX125 engine in it in the UK and see about 14/14.5bhp as a stocker but looking to jump up a class and tune the thing.
Keen to see how you get on, your NX4 chassis looks stunning! They’re mega bucks over here though, be talking 14k NZD for one built up as a racer

@@rickybobby7660 Dam that sounds pretty cool. Racing went well bike was flying. The new cams seemed to perform very similar to the kelford grind I had in them, which is still very fast( keeps up with a NSR150 ahha)
Yeah the Nx4 chassis is pretty sick, I'm glad I built it when I was single ahaha couldn't afford it now😅
