Hey Kyle, im the guy that was stuck on the reservation. I wanted to thank you again for taking the time out of your day. Those roads are very unforgiving but the heavy chev seemed unbothered haha. I said a prayer for you, i asked the creator to help you thrive in your youtube endeavors and to keep you and your loved ones safe during these times of sickness. Youre a good man and i appreciate you.
Joe Thank you for the prayers, I appreciate it and all of the people you are getting to subscribe to my channel! I will pray for your family to stay safe through all this and also maybe for a front bumper with some tow points for that truck ;)
Going to be heading that way with some buddies and my pops and brother come spring. I know I’m going to have to pull my brother and dad out once or twice 😂
I just got back from badlands yesterday took my new quad I just bought and got stuck in the mud spots only because I have a sport quad and its low to the ground.
If I didn’t have skid plates I would avoid any of the rock crawl/obstacle type areas, but you can definitely go enjoy driving trails at the badlands without skid plates!
Gotta ask. Plan on going to the badlands here in a few weeks. It will be my jeeps first off-road adventure. It's an 06 liberty with 2.5 inch ome lift with jba upper control arms. I have new Yokohama geolander at tires. Other than that it's pretty stock. Considering I'll be close to 1000 miles from home....im from Kansas. Do you think my jeep will hold up ok? I'm not gonna go crazy being my first time out and so far from home.....or you think this a park I should skip til I get some more mods done?
The map system is pretty terrible so it’s easy to make a wrong turn unless you’re paying extreme attention. The dirt and wooded areas were super rutted out from big ass tires and that was for the yellow trails which were suppose to be the easiest since alot of the green trails weren’t open. Maybe i just made a wrong turn I didn’t even get to check out the suv only side just the sands which was pretty fun but the green trail wasnt open yet. The yellow trail i found in the wooded area right next to the sand dunes were pretty hetic and again it was suppose to be the easiest so id def have some straps and a buddy or a winch and some skid plates also at very least. Especially coming from so far ya might wanna hit a junkyard and see if you can bring extra parts with you
Anyone could drive around in there. There are a lot of sandy spots and lots of rocks , so air down. Nice park, but the park map is a joke. If you're new, just plan on being lost.
You could drive around in most of the gravel yeah, I would make sure you have a good recovery point to get pulled from, and a few straps for someone to help you out if you’re stuck. I’d recommend staying out of any water or mud

9:52 The water deepness has nothing to do with the height of the cement ramp into the tubes. The ground doesn't raise or lower during rainfall 😄 😄
Can't wait to get my Ranger over there. Thanks for the vid.
took my 2v2 ranger stick shift through that mud pit no problem love it
Does 2v2 mean 2wd?
nice, looks like that ZR2 does really good.
Ayyyye badlands!! I live about 10 minutes south of there on 41. Can’t beat growing up right there 😎
I live about an hour away the place is so fun
I go to the rock quarry and the trails around it all the time with a 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk with just 1.5 inch lift and rock sliders.
Awesome video, thanks buddy
We should have a ZR2 meet up there. We did that back in the early 2000s when the only locker we had was a G80.
ZR2 Zamboni great idea, I will definitely continue to post on the forum, Facebook, and Instagram every time I am going

8:30 in the video is the same spot I got stuck coming down. Super soft!
whatd you have your tires at for your trip there
I am looking to head to the badland in September in SXS what should I hit when I get to the park
I have a 2019 ram 1500 with a 6" rough country lift and 35" nitto ridge grapplers. Would I have similar luck there as you?
Yeah probably! There wasn’t many trails too narrow for a full size and I don’t think I used my lockers very much!
Ya them forest areas suck man omg cant even tell ya how many times ive gotten stuck with my trx250x and them quads are known too be good in mud
I just got back from badlands yesterday took my new quad I just bought and got stuck in the mud spots only because I have a sport quad and its low to the ground.
Do you need skid plates

Do you have lockers or limited slip front or rear?
The ZR2 comes stock with full electric lockers front and rear :)
so I'm guessing a gladiator would have the same trouble as you did?
Justin P gladiator on 35s would be about the same as me
What exhaust system was on that gray Jeep ?
I just asked him and he said he just removed the muffler! Didn’t add anything!
I have a 05 2wd Ford Escape Hybrid? Could it handle this? The gentler parts? Just looks so fun!!!!!
