Really good documentary. I particularly enjoyed the parts about the growth of the sport during certain years.

@@Sports365DotBiz Are you going to make one from 1923 onward? I'd like to see one that features the Gashouse Gang Cardinals
I also loved the part about the radio spreading the sport to everyone, regardless of origin, race, class, etc. Perhaps they should try for mass appeal these days and do away with their blackout restrictions.

They look old because a lot of the images you are seeing of them are from oldtimer's games.

It’s funny to me how old these Players looked way back them. They look like old men. But they weren’t.

The black and white photos probably make them look older. It's easier to tell a subject's age when the photo is in color.

Tyrus Raymond Cobb. The Georgia peach. People thought Pete Rose was mean and aggressive….this guy used a flat file to sharpen his spikes!

And also Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, Lou Gehrig, Jackie Robinson, MIckey Mantle, Lefty Grove, Bob Gibson, Sandy Koufaxk, Yogi Berra, Joe DiMaggio, Ken Griffey Jr.........all responsible for the history of baseball among many others. The Babe was the Babe no doubt but he's not alone.
