Sam Winchester's love for his brother helped him overcome Lucifer. Everyone called him Lucifer's perfect vessel. Lucifer probably planned for eons about every possible outcome and problem that may occur, but what he didn't plan for was his love for his older brother.

The scene where Sam punches Dean always gets me. Little brother Sam can't truly express in words alone how much he loves his big brother and getting physical was the only way he could say ''please don't go. You're my brother and I need you.''
I loved that part in 14x12 but that makes me more giggle than sad

That last one, where Sammy punches Dean and then yells "I believe in us! Why don't you believe in us!?" Had me bawling. I think I may have shouted "I believe in you!" at the TV screen…
This show has such an accurate portrayal of siblings, the banter and the sacrifices.But what I love the most is that they make Sam such an accurate little sibling, the mistakes and the wanting to do good and make the older one proud.And Dean, being the older sibling sworn to protect the little one to the point of death.
And how they deal with their trauma separately, their father was a dick and it created a rift between the two yet they managed to solve it and move on.And I just think about how well written they are, and how such good actors Jensen and Jared are
I love how Dean doesn't seem to take his resentment against his dad out on Sam. He's like Sam's father as well as his big brother and he doesn't really think twice about it or blame Sam for it.
That scene in church, when Sam said that what he confessed about was how many times he let Dean down and that he can't do that again cause Dean may not trust him anymore and turn to another being instead of him, made me cry and love Sam more than usual

Yes me too !! But it all started after rewatching the show, i used to look at everything from Dean's prespective i am not sure why but i begin to pay more attention to Sam and all of a sudden he is my favourite. I love Dean ofcourse i mean who doesn't lol 😂 but Sam is defenitly my favourite i enjoy his character developement his reactions his hidden feelings his decisions ..everything about him is very deep. Anyway i just wanted to say me too and ended up writting a very long reply sorry 😂😂😂

God, Sam and Dean’s relationship is so much like me and my big sister, we have the same love, and we would die and kill for each-other in a heartbeat. That’s why I love spn so much we can do anything to eachother but at the end of the day. It’s us vs the world

That last scene was all the more heart wrenching when you know the backstory: For whatever reason Jared could not play the scene with the emotions and strong acting like he usually did. And the more he tried the more frustrated and anxious he got. He even said he walked off set to pace the location parking lot and read to read over his script. And Jensen said nothing he could do was bringing Jared back to his baseline. But, finally when Jared got back to act his part, Jensen said, the hug they shared was more Jensen hugging Jared than Dean huging Sam
