I noticed how you're very careful not to touch the doll with your bare skin while blushing. When you bent the leg back to blush the joints- and you used the handle of the brush. That's a really good practice actually! I don't know- I just like how you're careful with that, a practice I need to learn.

When people customize dolls for Halloween I’m not really phased at all but this, this right here, this beautiful piece of craftsmanship is what I love, she actually made me feel uneasy and I’m not scared easily, she’s a beautiful doll and you should do horror themed things more often, it’s refreshing to see something ACTUALLY unnerving and not just cute, thank you for posting this amazing video!

I know I'm late to the party, but as someone who does gore sfx makeup, a little black and yellow/green goes a long way when making believable wounds. Just a protip! ❤ your work
I've noticed that the apoxy was still dark when you started painting the face. If memory serves me right, it's supposed to be a lighter gray, close to white, when it's finished curing. I may be wrong, but I just can't help but think that when seeing you handle the head. I really hope it stays in place!
Kathrine Candy I think it depends on what color you have. There is apoxie in grey, white, natural, ... So no worries it was hardend and stayed in place 😊👍🏻
You don't have to pay as much as Dremel charges... there's plenty of other rotary drilling tools that fit the Dremel heads...you can get them for a quarter of the price and they are every bit as good as Dremel. If you check your electric nail file it may fit the Dremel size attachments and you can maybe do off with buying sanding attachments for the time being. The animal fur looks great! Oho Mein Hertz Brennt!.... the story is great too! (P.s big Rammstein fan here lol!) Tchuss!

A little tip for distressed fabrics, use a pet comb for random tears and rips. I always use that because I have this thing where I can’t do random, it’s weird.

I've wanted to do doll customizing for a while but I'm not an artist I'm only 11 but I love art and have been complimented about my drawing skills. should I try it? how and where would I start? help, please.
Quaking If you want to do something then please try it. You don’t need to listen to others. Just start slow, don’t buy 100+ dolls if you don’t know if this hobby makes you happy doing. Use materials you have around like nail polish remover instead of buying aceton for example. Or use acrylic paint for your first face up before you buy toxic and expensive sealant. Put your health first and have fun! Do what you want cause you do it for you!
all you really need to know is how to draw an eye. I've completed 4 dolls myself after only getting into it around august this past year. Now I'm working on 3 simultaneously and am planning a series of them... with heavy body mods. If you want to start, just change the face on a doll, or the face and hair. Leave the body and clothes alone for a while and get used to the faces, especially if you're new to art in general. practice drawing faces so you get used to how things should be done. I primarily draw people already so I jumped right in, but that's after basically a decade of learning how to draw people well. The best part about dolls is that the faces are molded and if you follow the lines it's not too hard to make it look nice. I've been watching a lot of different doll artists to get a feel for how to do things from all of them, not just one way. I chose to do hair the way mozekyto does, but I follow dollightfull mostly. I love kyros workshop because he does stuff really out of the box, but hextian is a makeup god. diferent doll artists specialize in different things. whenever you go and try out something new with your dolls, always practice with the material first. but as far as supplies go, try watching Dollightfull's video for budget customizing. look at her bare materials and that's a good rudimentary list of tools (acrylic paint and such) also acrylic paint is cheap, you can get really specific colors for less than a dollar at wallmart.

Das ist gratis, recht einfach wenn man sich eingefunden hat und rendert größtenteils über die cpu statt gpu. Das war zumindest für mich wichtig da ich nur ne onboard Grafikkarte hab die nix kann 😂 ansonsten würde ich da Vinci resolve nehmen aber aus oben genanntem Grund kommt es für mich leider nicht in frage
Story (14:16): The story begins with a young man, who's girlfriend left him after she found out that he secretly kills little animals for fun. "A psychopath!" she called him, (as if). In all this chaos, he found an old book in a strange language about voodoo magic. The young man saw his opportunity to take revenge. With a bad smile on his face, he started to build a voodoo doll like the book said, or better, like what he could understand. Blinded by madness he tortured the doll just as much to keep his ex-girlfriend alive when the curse would hit her. When he was satisfied with the result, he spoke the magic words of the book and sealed the spell with a few drops of his own blood. Complete silence... Then the doll began to shudder, with a horrific scream she started to grow, till she reached the size of a small child. The young man took a few steps back, shocked. He stared at the monster he brought to life. Slowly, she turned her head and faced him directly, with a bloody bandage that had replaced her eyes. "You", she growled, "You did this to me..." it was just a second in which she grabbed one of the knives on the table, jumped forward against the young man and stabbed him into the throat. With the desperate gargling he sank down to the ground, still staring at the doll in complete disbelief. She slowly hanged over him, and whispered in his ear "Your blood made me, it's your own fault" with that she punched her hand inside his chest and pulled out his heart, and disappeared into the woods... (If i got anything wrong please tell me, I will fix it!)

I've wanted to do doll customizing for a while but I'm not an artist I'm only 11 but I love art and have been complimented about my drawing skills. should I try it? how and where would I start? help, please.
Quaking If you want to do something then please try it. You don’t need to listen to others. Just start slow, don’t buy 100+ dolls if you don’t know if this hobby makes you happy doing. Use materials you have around like nail polish remover instead of buying aceton for example. Or use acrylic paint for your first face up before you buy toxic and expensive sealant. Put your health first and have fun! Do what you want cause you do it for you!

all you really need to know is how to draw an eye. I've completed 4 dolls myself after only getting into it around august this past year. Now I'm working on 3 simultaneously and am planning a series of them... with heavy body mods. If you want to start, just change the face on a doll, or the face and hair. Leave the body and clothes alone for a while and get used to the faces, especially if you're new to art in general. practice drawing faces so you get used to how things should be done. I primarily draw people already so I jumped right in, but that's after basically a decade of learning how to draw people well. The best part about dolls is that the faces are molded and if you follow the lines it's not too hard to make it look nice. I've been watching a lot of different doll artists to get a feel for how to do things from all of them, not just one way. I chose to do hair the way mozekyto does, but I follow dollightfull mostly. I love kyros workshop because he does stuff really out of the box, but hextian is a makeup god. diferent doll artists specialize in different things.
whenever you go and try out something new with your dolls, always practice with the material first. but as far as supplies go, try watching Dollightfull's video for budget customizing. look at her bare materials and that's a good rudimentary list of tools (acrylic paint and such) also acrylic paint is cheap, you can get really specific colors for less than a dollar at wallmart.

Was mich am meisten abschreckt an den Videos ist das schneiden und editieren :/ Ich weiß nicht wirklich mit welchem Programm das am Anfängerfreundlichsten ist. Bevorzugst du da ein bestimmtes?
Leonie B. Ja editieren ist auch eine Kunstform hab ich festgestellt 😂 ich benutze hitfilm 4 Express. Das ist gratis, recht einfach wenn man sich eingefunden hat und rendert größtenteils über die cpu statt gpu. Das war zumindest für mich wichtig da ich nur ne onboard Grafikkarte hab die nix kann 😂 ansonsten würde ich da Vinci resolve nehmen aber aus oben genanntem Grund kommt es für mich leider nicht in frage
Story (14:16): The story begins with a young man, who's girlfriend left him after she found out that he secretly kills little animals for fun. "A psychopath!" she called him, (as if). Full of rage he went in through the forest to calm himself down a little bit, cursing and lashing about. He stand through the corpse, until he found an abandoned little wooden cabin. Curiously, he went inside to find a little room, with stuff all over the place. Bottles, knives, candles, bones, and much more. In all this chaos, he found an old book in a strange language about voodoo magic. The young man saw his opportunity to take revenge. With a bad smile on his face, he started to build a voodoo doll like the book said, or better, like what he could understand. Blinded by madness he tortured the doll just as much to keep his ex-girlfriend alive when the curse would hit her. When he was satisfied with the result, he spoke the magic words of the book and sealed the spell with a few drops of his own blood. Complete silence... Then the doll began to shudder, with a horrific scream she started to grow, till she reached the size of a small child. The young man took a few steps back, shocked. He stared at the monster he brought to life. Slowly, she turned her head and faced him directly, with a bloody bandage that had replaced her eyes. "You", she growled, "You did this to me..." it was just a second in which she grabbed one of the knives on the table, jumped forward against the young man and stabbed him into the throat. With the desperate gargling he sank down to the ground, still staring at the doll in complete disbelief. She slowly hanged over him, and whispered in his ear "Your blood made me, it's your own fault" with that she punched her hand inside his chest and pulled out his heart, and disappeared into the woods...
