That whole bit at the end about losing friends from highschool is so real. I don't see ANY of my friends from highschool anymore. I talk to 2 or 3 every now and then, but the only friend I have from my highschool days was actually a mutual friend of a friend, and neither of them went to my school. But the mutual friend was the one that stuck it out, and to this day I treat that man like a brother.
Everyone is not your friend. Two of these stories basically the person was set up. I always hated when someone can't fight their own battles and have their friend jump in. To me, that's very cowardly. And then have the nerve to walk around like you did something.
