For anyone to truly appreciate all this hard work, you have had to do previous wiring for your Civic or Accord. I know how much effort you put into this. Cheers from Jersey
I truly appreciate the effort and it was very entertaining and enjoyable, unlike the fake exhaust tips. 😂. I just dislike when people try to make the basic 1.5 Accord be more than what it is. Simply because you can't be a car guy and go buy the 1.5.
Hey I’ve seen that with civics you can just replace the mirrors with bsi ones for older models n they work though not sure about sensors. I think you have to add sensors. I have a 2017 civic sedan ext. has lanewatch on the right mirror but I like to add blind spot monitoring to both mirrors for safety. Your video is nice n informative good job. I’ve seen rear view mirrors that have blind spot too just have to figure out which I can get here in vegas
Awesome video!! Just what I was looking for...not sure if you found a system that does not have the flaws like this one, but I'm interested in knowing if there is a better one out there.
Yeah I have made a video on a better one but the only issue is the product is discontinued Adding pioneer blindspot to accord lx-sport se ruclips.net/video/Lm_8CiV19JA/видео.html
Thanks for making this video, as I was just going to purchase the exact brand. So I have a question, during your test with the blind spot system. Was your rear bumper back on or was you driving and testing with it off?
Have you tried installing the side mirrors with turn signal and built in blind spot? I was wondering if i can put it on my sport se before i purchase it
Blind spot is not built into the mirror blind works off a radar sensor that sits on the back of the car under the bumper The mirror only have an LED light that lights up when the sensor picks something up
@atqsari Improved velocity resolution and accuracy Velocity resolution and accuracy are inversely proportional to frequency. Compared to 24GHz sensors, 77GHz versions improve velocity resolution and accuracy by a factor of three.

Thank you for making this awesome video for adding a blind spot kit! 😊

What about cars with side impact airbags would pulling all that trim off affect any of that
No cause you are not touching the impact sensor
Is it working when other car going with same speed and you turning?
Yes it does but only if they approach you
Maybe if you add more sensors in front
could but I’m not sure how affective it would be cause I’m not sure if and metal parts will interfere with the function of the system
Does heated mirror works too?
You would have to locate the rear defroster wire and router the heated mirror wires over to get that working
How much does it cost, if u can explain the difference in 24hz vs 77hz system?

Good. Job
