A 500 is perfectly alright to tour around with, after all Maden rode around Australia on a 125 cc motorcycle as part of a series of motorcycle adventures.
I think you guys have created a winning story to tell. Bringing your companion along is always as welcome addition. Not sure what the status of that relationship is...husband, boyfriend or fiance, but it definitely adds an element of interest. I will definitely continue to follow your journey. You certainly have a bubbly personality Caitlin...nice video.
Has she done an MSF course? Caitlyn was nervous the whole time when she was learning. Having headsets where we could talk to each other definitely helped big time. It's definitely really great riding together and traveling together, for both of us!
@@kerbachard That's what I did with Caitlyn, but required pulling the trigger on a bike. Started with a used S40, before she moved to the Rebel. She didn't even know how to operate a manual transmission. But she had tons of miles on the back and a willingness to try and learn. Parking lots for a bit, then permit and riding around talking. Gradually built her up and she's killing it. Did a 1k mile trip to Tampa and back on a permit. Rode up to New England from SC in two days, right after she got her license. And the Rebel is fantastic! Caitlyn was nervous a lot early on. Still gets nervous traveling, but the more she rides the less nervous she is. I would let your wife know that. Everyone is nervous when they are a new rider! Hope she gives it on a shot, for herself, but also because it would be great for the two of you. Where are you located?
I am not a new rider, and have a 2020 Honda Rebel 500. She will love it, reliable, user friendly. Only down side is trying to find affordable luggage to fit. I'm 5 foot 4 inch, with a 28 inch inseam.
How awesome is motorbike adventures with a partner! Great to see Caitlyn getting out moto camping, its a whole new world!! Also, I feel like 3.40-4.00 explains most of my life trying to talk to a camera 😂
@@ScramblerStories dude that’s awesome! How long for?! I will be flying through Los Angeles around late Feb so if you’re still on the road around then, let’s try to catch up!
@@lifeofascrambler That would be awesome. On the living from the road, the plan is the next two years sticking to North America (I'll still be working my job from campsites, etc) and then we go international for 3-4 years.
Excellent video! On a side note, is it a good idea for tent manufacturers to emphasise the potential user- ‘Lone rider’!! It should be called’ NRA MMA beast shack’ or something to make people walk the other way lol
Great stuff. Keep ‘em coming! 👍🏻
Hopefully we'll have consistent uploads on the way!
Loving the silliness at the very end of the videos 😝.
Great video guys.. Caitlin is a star!! The wife and I are in our first road trip next week to Northern Spain 🇪🇸.
Awesome, I hope you enjoy your trip and make it a safe! Wish we were going to Spain!
Looking good on the Rebel, Caitlyn ✌
Thank you!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing - love the shirt!
Thank you!

Thank you! We're getting married this Friday before we hit the road full-time!
@@ScramblerStories CONGRATULATIONS!♥️♥️
@@dalegarrard9446 Thank you!
My wife has been looking at the Rebels, she's super nervous to take the plunge though! I'd be over the moon if she rode with me though!

@@ScramblerStories she wouldn't get much from the course, it'll be me in a parking lot with headsets for sure!

"Y'all have a RUclips Channel" - Nah, we're just self obsessed. lol.
Looks like a great time!
"It's for our only fans..." - That's what we should have said!

Hahah that's a great idea!
That was a funny ending
Yeah.. not too bad, I hope next video won’t be in 3 months.. 😄
Haha, hopefully not! But we're about to find out how well we can edit on the road while traveling.
