he sings his heartbreak so *_beautifully_*, even when it must've felt terrible. i feel like there's nothing in the world that wont fall silent just to hear him sing his heart out. his voice can heal so well, almost to the point of it hurting. not in a bad way, though. comforting. i wonder.. who hurt him so deeply for him to make something so heartfelt? i hope with my whole heart he's happier now. he deserves the world. if not, i hope he isn't hurting alone at least.

fun fact... the eng trans for this song always kinda bothered me, because a more accurate translation for the title/chorus parts, "떠나지마라", would be "don't leave" rather than just "stay".... yeah the meaning is basically the same, but the nuance........makes the entire song more painfully touching. you can hear him fighting a war within himself... "if you don't love me, leave.... don't wipe my tears, just leave....." etc etc.. but at the end of the all, he is begging "don't leave".... :( such a truly amazing artist... 🌹
