Why am I enjoying the 30 year old B&B episodes more than the current ones? There was no replacing the originals with the characters of today. Bring back Caroline, Stephanie, and the original Ridge!!! After all, in Soap Land no one is ever really dead!

Well now, things are getting VERY interesting. Ridge's past is coming back to bring him temptation just when Bill calls off the investigation. Poor Dave, he's standing there hoping for Brooke to say yes to his proposal and she's going on and on about the Forresters and being rich & famous. On a non-episode note: I really like how full the sets were back then. There's a fullness to them that shows that there was care given to how the show looks. Nowadays it's so patently a set and most of the time they're rather bare bones ones at that.

Did you see how Caroline gaped at Monique and Jennifer in their Bathing Suits. I would love for her to be part of a Locher Room Discussion about being on a Soap Opera and being Gay. In the UK many of them are out and proud who are happily married and in committed relationships with folks and some even have kids.

I've read that she first quit B&B because she was clinically depressed due to her parents disowning her and refusing to talk to her due to her being gay 😢 I could never do that to my daughter.
I don't understand why you call Brooke a gold digger, a social climber, an opportunist etc... She's just a young girl who fantasizes looking at a photo in the newspaper... I don't find anything wrong with that or being fascinated by a style of a luxurious life...but this is not the reason why she will fall in love with Ridge and it's obvious!!!
