What a wonderful video. Short and sweet. Kaspa lays out all the main ideas of the Scotch Gambit, and even answers some questions I had as someone who has played the Scotch Gambit successfully and unsuccessfully. There are ways to get tripped up, but Kaspa shows how to parry black's responses. Well done.
@@TVSPrasad1 If you want to be like that, please leave. Of course more advanced players also benefit from Kaspa as inspiration. Kaspa does not go deep into theory therefor he is accessible for lower rated players and beneficial in that they have to figure out themselves how to play through trial an error which develops skill.
His quite good one of my favourites. However Nelson a national master who runs the CHESSVIBES channel is also very good for key content in terms of principles and strategy for those particularly below 1500 Elo. He also has a very good course for those around 1000 Elo that gives you all you need to know to get to 1500elo. Even if you don't reviews seem to indicate most people gain a minimum of 200 Elo after studying it. Check out his channel and look at the playlist. He also does traps and novelty stuff as in thinking up crazy scenarios and playing then out.
I think the below 2000 level chess teaching is all about fun. Make chess fun so you want to play. Nothing about chess is difficult at that level, you figure out what to do yourself more or less. Kaspa finds all those crazy ideas that throws you into different types of positions and broadens yor chess base knowledge, feel comfortable in all types of positions
I've been on a bit of a losing streak. I did a bit of a deep study of the Scotch Gambit. First game...pinned my opponents queen to their king. He resigned. Easy win in 8 moves. He moved his Queen to e7 which you didn't cover. I'm sure you have somewhere...
Trap #3 is the Scotch wild horse gambit but it seems totally refuted by pawn to f6 instead of h6 because after the sacrifice and bishop c4 and then Queen to h5 the pawn move to g6. Then after queen to d5 threatening mate, black queen to e7 shuts it down and white is down a knight and pawn.
That's almost unplayable. There's no good reason for black to play Nh6 when there's no real threat coming to f7. But if Black plays Nh6 anyways, you can go Bc4 with the idea of sacrificing on f7 after black plays Bc5.
But after Bc5 the f8 square is protected twice by knight and king so you can’t sacrifice. You just have to be happy with the black knight weak on edge of board.
I had a game where my 1550 rated opponent went for immediate knight sacrifice, maybe I'm a unique 1400 but I noticed that I was getting mated, so I decided to manually castle short through g6.a And had a pleasant advantage for most of the game
If he plays Queen (Qf6) instead of taking the gambit pawn, you can play e5, which will probably make him retreat his knight back to its initial position (Nb8). If instead he moves it to Na5, then you develop Nc3, giving your knight a better position than his. If instead he moves it to Nb4, you follow it with pawn a3 which would now force him to go Na6 or Nc6, wasting his time in his knight.
after Ng5 instead of h8 if black plays Bd7, Nxe7 is not working. In lichess database 79% of black players winner after Bd7. I played this gambit on a tournament and I lose that game
Sorry to hear that, but if you finished watching this entire video, you should be able to recall one of my sincere advices that I gave regarding tricks, traps, and gambits. Just learn the ideas behind and know exactly where to apply them in your serious games. At the end of the day, we still have to play chess. For me, those traps work a lot.💟
I appreciate that. But kindly note that most of my viewers are beginners and intermediate-level players who need a strong foundation to be laid in the intro for them to understand exactly where I am getting to. For advanced players like yourself, you can simply make use of the time stamps in the description section. Thank you!

Thank you for these traps you've added some knowledge n some of them I have been playing them🔥🔥
Well spend 17 minutes, I give you that. Pure gold on this gambit I never even heard about before.
Kaspa chess is by far the best chess teacher on youtube for the lower ranked players.
ok.. you mean not suitable for very advanced, Master players like me..😏🙄 I am leaving....😜

The dude from zambia, accent yalishibikwa
Good content here, you make a very good coach
Thank you for the support.
Excellent explanation. Thanks, very clear.
When you oin knight by bring bishop on g5 is it possible to take the knight, fork queen and rook which forces queen to move then capture knight
Thank you for your videos, nice and great learning tactics, “Mabuhay” from Guam, USA
Another great video brother!🔥

Coool thank you very much !!!!❤️🙏
What if, after d4 the opponent plays d5? Kinda blocked up in the center. Surprisingly, that opening doesn't seem to have a name, according to lichess.
This is not a good move for Black. He will end down a central pawn very quickly. However some sidelines are tricky for both sides.
Kaspa, will you be running promotions on your courses for the festivities coming up? (Halloween, Black Friday, Christmas.......etc) Thank you
Yeah, sure... 💟

Please say something on black opening
Awesome videos. New subscriber, you're great.
1:02. The Sunlight variation.
You explain amazing. Thanks 😊
thanks bro love the scotch gambino
many thanks
Excellent!
In trap 3 what to do if back plays knight h3

Good lesson
This is good. Thank you, Sir!
Thanks, I appreciate!
5:10 "even though stockfish does not seem to be satisfied with this move" its literally the top engine move in that position...
Thanks for this information
Super tricks kaspa sir
a great video!!!! thanks...
Thanks
Thanks for this video sir.. i played the trap #2 to a 1700+ player in blitz and i won.
Thank you
I give one thumb up, but, virtaly, I give 1000.
Thank you kaspa
U the best!!!🤦🏾♂️🙏🏾
What about when they play queen to E7?
Thank you
Nice Kaspa
I love trap #3 and finally I got a superior opponent that played this as black 1:1 and I defeated hm by the book :)
Keep it up... Like your explanation
What if they play pawn h6 to prevent knight g5
Super sir 👌nice traps
I had a game where my 1550 rated opponent went for immediate knight sacrifice, maybe I'm a unique 1400 but I noticed that I was getting mated, so I decided to manually castle short through g6.a

What about 4...Qf6 ?
I just played trap 3 and my opponent fell for it play by play...I am amazed
Good played
Great video
I played a 1400 level computer and black played his queen every time. None of these gambits worked against a computer.
wow
Play against humasn! No point playing computers they make weird moves anyway.
Amazing.
Pls trapiest plays the king Gambit &win for white side
Nice video chess
In trap #3.. If after Bc4+, instead of Ke8 or Ke7 black plays d5.. what would be the best move for white??
It s lost for white after d5
Wow impressive...
White Win Trap 4 Game Scotch Gambit 4
So what if my opponent opens with their Queen after their horse
If he plays Queen (Qf6) instead of taking the gambit pawn, you can play e5, which will probably make him retreat his knight back to its initial position (Nb8).

9:00
D6 kills these.
Looks like in the Ng5 line (instead of Bc4), after the sac on f7, white is dead meat! Stockfish gives - 3 plus. Explain
after Ng5 instead of h8 if black plays Bd7, Nxe7 is not working. In lichess database 79% of black players winner after Bd7. I played this gambit on a tournament and I lose that game
Support Player to a Game Gambit
nice
Some of these traps are literally evil.
Dude stop calling the f6 pawn the f7 pawn…
Trap 3 .................. Black plays 4. Nh6............... now what?
I like too much your vídeos, but when I'm playing with other players they respond in different ways and I lost my self most of the times.

Is it still possible to play scotsh gambit when you are black and dominate most people?
You sound like the phonejacker
You talk too much
You can’t go Knight g5
The queen will take it
What is this tutorial?!😂
Bxg5
You can if you paid attention and seen that the pond had opened open in front of the bishop before g5
Left video because there is too much rambling in the beginning. Just get to it, dude.
