I was attacked by a anti-griefer until I told him about the situation. Then he helped me out killing the griefer I like players that help others. I'm mostly a solo player.
Yh. Me and 2 friends had a similar thing happen. Though after destroying the anti-griefer's tank in self-defense and explaining our situation in a PSN message, he not only left us to continue handling the problem we was dealing with but he ended up becoming my friend. Also I did apologize for destroying his tank 🙂
That’s usually what i do, i just fight griefers but sometimes its difficult to see who’s grieving and who’s being griefed, so its nice when ppl let us know what’s happening

In our case the griefers or try to be griefers were a group of low levels who repeatedly attempted to do drive-bys and other forms of assault on us. So what would you do in our situation where despite every attempt you made to avoid fighting a group of low levels who attacked you, the low level continued to chase and attack you? PS we attempted to avoid the fighting the low level griefers before because generally low levels tend to not know what they are doing. Also if we engaged the group directly after there first attempted assault it would have been seen as bullying in our minds. I say "attempted" cause the first assault was 1 low level firing from a vehicle using the beginning pistol before he got his friend to start firing from the passenger seat. After that the first 2 attackers left and a third low level showed up then started attacking us with rockets. So we ultimately had no choice but to engage and defend ourselves
Remember meeting a super score warrior, dude was able to track me down across multiple sessions for the entire day just to settle a 1-8 score, he would also try to follow me for 2 days but failed every time. I have several ideas as to why he went to great lengths to settle the score but the most likely to me is… cause I clowned the dude in front of his gf lmao
Had one of those players in rdr2 get this, he followed me over the course of four months. Almost every time I was online you would see him join my game, I always either left or equipped explosive rounds to kill him then left. He thought I was black so he’d call me a monkey but he was portuguese so I called him a port-a-potty. He never got his kills back lmao.
I would say the most bloodthirsty player is a pissed off grinder. I think I can vouche for all of us we’ve obsessed over making someone rage quit after they ruined our cargo sales
I think I can call myself a mix of anti-griefer and an OG PvP player I more than can defend myself and even win against griefers and wannabes, and if I see someone being a griefer in a lobby, my hero complex kicks in Only issues are when it's a modder, godmode abuser, or one of the top 1% PvP players, the former is self-explanatory and for the latter, I am not good enough to kill someone *that* insanely good
Same here I always get that feeling like I habe to help people. It is though nice to see that sometimes you get a thank you for helping someone. Dirty players and cheaters are a problem too. I have fought one just today and he was too braindead to use his godmode so I could get some kills on he got his hands on some explo ammo.
I liked having the hero persona because when i started i was more of a griefer in an mk2 tryna kill everyone and everything. I was pretty stupid, cringe, idiotic, toxic and dumbfounded back then, until some dude interrupted me in my mk2 from maze bank and started spawn keking me with his sniper. Honestly i kinda respected players better than me, until the dude sent me a friend request which was a first since i only had 1 friend at the time and he wasn’t online in months. I honestly admired the guy and followed him everywhere in public sessions because pretty much the majority of what he does is go around and fuck over griefers. I was pretty amazed. I thought to myself that maybe i can be a griefer… to griefers… which was a good idea for me since there’s no point in starting a fight with someone that won’t fight back. And i went around public lobbies looking for griefers and the majority of the time i lost obviously because all i was good at is using the mk2. At that point i was just a guy looking around for a fight with people that actually want a fight, when i found one, i get to interrupt the fight between the griefer and the grinder and the majority of the time i get thanked by the guy because i saved his cargo or whatever. Now i have a discord server with a friend of mine whom i met when i saved her cargo and now i have a high role on her anti griefer role, honestly the majority of them have their own skills and uses, they could even beat me ngl, but as of now starting from that time i ever blew up my first cargo, i feel like i’ve done something well in my life, i might be failing school right now due to gta, but i’m glad i made someone have some joy even if it’s in a game that they’ll probably forget in a year. I feel like a kratos, at first i started out being an arrogant dude killing everyone for my selfish gains, and now i’m a… hm i don’t wanna say dad but i think that’s the right way to say it, i mean i have some little peeps that has to grow and be an anti griefer but i still have to watch over them while we go out and “hunt” griefers. Loved it, more of the heroes! Love using meta vehicles like the annihilator, seabreeze and even the cropduster. Never am able to use these vehicles for long though for obvious reasons sadly

I know this game very well.... I'm still horrible at PVP. Love playing with my crew and running stuff but never tend to hit PVP unless I've had a few beers hahahaha
I’m half score warrior half off meta I care about my score but I don’t grief others, and I don’t like the orbital cannon, and I don’t kill someone 3 times then leave, and I don’t care if they get a score as long as I’m higher. And I play the game driving whatever I feel like I only use the oppressor to fight another oppressor, cause I’m angry, to do Executiive Search, or other rare occasion. Although when it comes to killing I do use something better than the scramjet. I have the scramjet but I hardly use it. I like it but it’s hard to drive and is likely to sink. Currently I like driving the Sanctus. Its cool.
I’ve become so obsessed with the Scramjet after watching Mayonnaise absolutely decimate his opponents that you’ll hardly see me in any other vehicle. I’ve been using it for almost two years now, but I could be so much better

Yesterday i lost against a godmode Toreador griefer, i challenged him to a 1v1 on the beach and the coward said no, and he said that he won against me. That kind of players like you mentioned exactly.
I can boil it down further to 3 categories The casual- Just wants to play, have a good time. A gun fight here or there but not dragging it out for long. Gta4 style The griefers/none caring- want kills or doesn't care what your doing and kills you. Will do anything for a kill and uses any means. Low skill caps The OG's- Just doing their own thing, usually the best players. Doesn't want to fight but will happily do so when they're attacked

In my time of playing GTA I will say out out fighting everyone the OG players are the hardest and most fun to fight going up against somebody who’s been playing the game for 3 to 4 years is incredibly fun it’s also really intense but the reason it’s so fun is because you’re not typically getting here with explosive rounds or in cinerary it’s just good old fashion one on one
You can tell they’re og because they don’t kill themselves over and over, and they don’t use the mk2 and Lazer constantly. I prefer a mix of jets, bombers, and attack choppers. Plus the APC, scramjet, half track, khanjali, and sparrow

@@UNDEADCREATOR This current gen of players can’t appreciate the skill it takes to fight using anything besides the Lazer and still get kills. The mk2 lowered that bar to the ground. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone got called trash for using a buzzard like that. Today’s players know very little.
As a griefer I only destroy targets off mission and definitely not if they are selling We are annoying but some of us have standards I only grief (is usually pick higher opponents) because it helps me get better and I have seen the difference the tricks and manoeuvres people use have made me so skilful !
Idk, i only fuck with vehicle cargo. I think its funny as shit to wait in the end of a tight tunnel in off radar and when they cant brake just get in the way with my half track. Its pure evil but i hope it doesn't count as griefing :3
This feels like more of an overview than a proper guide - it's good to know these categories, but how to deal with them feels a little...glossed over, almost.
I came across a griefer griefing me when I’m selling my bunker and he started to kill me and eventually destroy me cargo so I left then found him in a session with his mates (somehow he actually has mates) so you know every person would’ve gone and destroyed his cargo but I punished him by inviting my whole entire crew mates to destroy troll and all round annoy the shit out of the griefer he eventually said sorry
It is also important to note that the term griefer and tryhard can be interchangable depend on the subject. Ususlly griefers and wannabe tryhards refer to themselves as tryhards.
True which to me is a little annoying cause people don't seem to know the difference between "wannabe" tryhards and "true" tryhards or as pyr called it "og" players. I mean really some people see a certain type of outfit that some characters might be wearing ie a fighting outfit or as people call it a tryhard outfit and immediately assume they are one of those wannabes. Like seriously not everyone who wears the type of outfit is a wannabe or a griefer. For example, I have my character wear a so-called tryhard outfit at times cause I am a true tryhard when around certain friends (who are also true tryhards) due to the fact that we tend to fight each other sometimes but we will defend ourselves if someone attacks us for no reason. I also have my character wear the tryhard outfit when going against enemy npcs cause why not. Other than those two occasions, I don't have my character wear the tryhard outfit since people tend to not know the difference between a good tryhard aka a true tryhard and a bad tryhard aka a wannabe tryhard. So I don't want people thinking my character is a wannabe tryhard or a possible griefer especially since I admittedly have my character use a mk2 (though it's mainly used for travel across the map and self-defense) 🤷♀️
I'm a OG, RNG and Base player. Occasionally if I'm bored I devolve to score warrior. I stopped playing for a while but came back recently... Now, I know that's fairly hard to believe, that I consider myself the 1% but I think it's about right.

@@carsenbriggs4116Maybe, but I do compete in lazer and starling dogfights, and I can definitely say that lazer is harder. It just has a slightly higher skill ceiling (stalling/reverse kills and more varied speed control). Also if you make one mistake in the lazer, you get punished
im not a tryhard or a hardcore tryhard but i can defend myself when its needed as ive played this game from the start and have gained enough pvp experience to know when a fight wont go my way or i can absolutely eradicate someone who thinks they're good
I'd like to call myself a wannabe tryhard mixed with an anti-griefer, I have some slight skill in the game, as I've been playing for 6 years (give or take) at this point. I'm not good by any means, and don't care for K/D, but I can mop the floor with any wannabe tryhard or griefer I find, unfortunately this doesn't stop me from having days where I suck, badly.
When I first started I was getting obliterated and got a text "hey bud you need some help"? I said "yeah they destroyed my meth delivery" this dude came in to my Mc like freaking John Wick and just destroyed them with no mercy.
Ran into a noob that shot me, and ironically I spawned up the block and he was coming to run me over until I hit the empty personal vehicle button, and just like I had been done, I pulled out my starter pistol and basically gave him a taste of his own medicine.

The Patriot Mil-Spec is such a great free roam vehicle, no lock-on, armored it they shoot manually. And it drives good!

This current gen of players can’t appreciate the skill it takes to fight using anything besides the Lazer and still get kills.
The mk2 lowered that bar to the ground.
I wouldn’t be surprised if someone got called trash for using a buzzard like that. Today’s players know very little.
As a griefer I only destroy targets off mission and definitely not if they are selling

I only grief (is usually pick higher opponents) because it helps me get better and I have seen the difference the tricks and manoeuvres people use have made me so skilful !

Idk, i only fuck with vehicle cargo. I think its funny as shit to wait in the end of a tight tunnel in off radar and when they cant brake just get in the way with my half track. Its pure evil but i hope it doesn't count as griefing :3

This feels like more of an overview than a proper guide - it's good to know these categories, but how to deal with them feels a little...glossed over, almost.
I came across a griefer griefing me when I’m selling my bunker and he started to kill me and eventually destroy me cargo so I left then found him in a session with his mates (somehow he actually has mates) so you know every person would’ve gone and destroyed his cargo but I punished him by inviting my whole entire crew mates to destroy troll and all round annoy the shit out of the griefer he eventually said sorry

It is also important to note that the term griefer and tryhard can be interchangable depend on the subject. Ususlly griefers and wannabe tryhards refer to themselves as tryhards.
True which to me is a little annoying cause people don't seem to know the difference between "wannabe" tryhards and "true" tryhards or as pyr called it "og" players. I mean really some people see a certain type of outfit that some characters might be wearing ie a fighting outfit or as people call it a tryhard outfit and immediately assume they are one of those wannabes. Like seriously not everyone who wears the type of outfit is a wannabe or a griefer. For example, I have my character wear a so-called tryhard outfit at times cause I am a true tryhard when around certain friends (who are also true tryhards) due to the fact that we tend to fight each other sometimes but we will defend ourselves if someone attacks us for no reason. I also have my character wear the tryhard outfit when going against enemy npcs cause why not. Other than those two occasions, I don't have my character wear the tryhard outfit since people tend to not know the difference between a good tryhard aka a true tryhard and a bad tryhard aka a wannabe tryhard. So I don't want people thinking my character is a wannabe tryhard or a possible griefer especially since I admittedly have my character use a mk2 (though it's mainly used for travel across the map and self-defense) 🤷♀️

Occasionally if I'm bored I devolve to score warrior. I stopped playing for a while but came back recently... Now, I know that's fairly hard to believe, that I consider myself the 1% but I think it's about right.

Was hoping to see the lazer dogfight community get a shoutout, it without a doubt contains the most skilled players on the game.
But what about the starling dog fighters. Where you actually have to get multiple strafes on the enemy without just looking at them once?
@@carsenbriggs4116Maybe, but I do compete in lazer and starling dogfights, and I can definitely say that lazer is harder. It just has a slightly higher skill ceiling (stalling/reverse kills and more varied speed control). Also if you make one mistake in the lazer, you get punished

im not a tryhard or a hardcore tryhard but i can defend myself when its needed as ive played this game from the start and have gained enough pvp experience to know when a fight wont go my way or i can absolutely eradicate someone who thinks they're good

I'd like to call myself a wannabe tryhard mixed with an anti-griefer, I have some slight skill in the game, as I've been playing for 6 years (give or take) at this point. I'm not good by any means, and don't care for K/D, but I can mop the floor with any wannabe tryhard or griefer I find, unfortunately this doesn't stop me from having days where I suck, badly.
