I keep coming back to this one. Getting close to pulling the trigger. The metal bracelet provides extra flexibility since you can always swap for a strap and it really changes the look.
It's silvery-white, if that helps in any way ;) And for the time being, it's the only dial colour IWC offers on the stainless steel bracelet. For now that is, as we sort of expect it to be expanded in the future.
About the braclet capability with order reference have you tried to fit the one to the older one? cause Im thinking to buy the new version only because of the new bracelet.
IWC confirmed us that the new steel bracelet can’t be used with the older reference 3714, because the lugs have a slightly different shape and the holes for the spring bars are placed differently... so unfortunately this new bracelet can only be used with the current reference 3716
@@Monochrome-watches Thanks for your reply Actually today I visited iwc retail to check out the new version of 3714(3716), actually one of the shop receptionist gave me answer exactly same of yours. But we tried to check out the difference between two of them and one of the shop member told us "It might be placed but won't fit perfectly as you expect in IWC" So now I'm really confused!!! lol If you have both reference num of portuguese could you kindly try to place it to the older one? In my opinion IWC is hesitating to give solid answer because of the Mounting quality. lol thanks again for your kind answer!
@Fred Flintstone 3 bar means splash proof, 3 bar is a measure of static pressure water resistance, on the safe side for swimming, you need 10 bar and seals to be relatively new
Fred Flintstone According to Lux, IWC claim 3 bar is swimmable, hence I replied to Lux if he think that is swimmable then good luck with that. Perhaps you need to understand the conversation before you go round calling people stupid, which in turns makes you look stupid, do you agree?
sporty watches are in demand for the durability of being able to wear it anywhere. With a 30m water resistance, you have to be careful everywhere you wear it. If you don't wear it for 2 days, the power reserve is gone and you'll have wind it again. The looks are sporty but it's not sporty.
Can’t Wait to have mine in a few months!

It's a very good watch top to bottom, and the added versatility is a bonus indeed! Now only if it came with the EasX-CHANGE system......
@@Monochrome-watches shame it doesn't but i don't think i'd mind leaving it on this bracelet.
Are the hands thermally blued? I believe they are painted blue.
Pretty cheaply made. They like to cut corners where they can.
Given the price, These must be thermally blued.
Unlikely. Do not forget it is mass produced.
thermally blued

Is the face white or silver ? Other colors on stainless braclet ?

I’m not seeing it on their site quite yet. Good looking watch though.
It could use higher power reserve, 70hrs+ would have been perfect!

@@Monochrome-watches I-WC, the watch for the restroom.
I have the same question exactly and I guess the new steel strap shall fit the old model!
It can fit to 3714, I have one... perfect fit
I wish it has better water resistance ..
According to IWC, their 3 bar WR rating means the watch is actually swimmable
@@chnzwh01 good luck with that

ALEC C plus this is a chronograph. There are very few of those I’d feel comfortable swimming with. Omega Planet Ocean is one.
