Sabarika Mani, who is currently pursuing Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, talks about her academic journey and how she transitioned from Commerce to Economics. Defying all odds associated with pursuing a career in liberal arts,she shares how following her passion and choosing Economics worked out well for her. She also mentions about the lack of awareness about Economics education in South India and the common misconceptions associated with it.
She also throws some light on her coursework during undergraduation and some of the projects that she worked on during college which further helped her in developing interest for the subject.
Her experiences with shifting schools/cities and how exposure to different cultures shaped her personality are also highlighted.
Finally she shares with us about her D school experience and the rich legacy associated with the institution.
