Is it not easier to make the Tool library with Excel? I heard that it become possible in the NX 10? If i is possible, can you then please make a guide for that? Thanks in advance.
thank you very much. good effort. i am Working in MasterCAM here i have created lot of library tools, holders, assembled tools. can i convert from MasterCAM File to NX with less effort ? if can pls guide me.
Chad... there are many tools in the MACH-resources-library-tool-graphics folder. with the ugc0101_009 and ugti0402_001 file name ..... how can i use these files..how can i import any of these tools in my machining setup.... Greatly appreciated if Ally PLM can put something together for us NX users..
Hello Bernardo, By default the NX folders are read-only, so this is one reason on why you get the “No write acess to library” message. In this case you can right click in the folder .../MACH/resource, select Properties options and turn off “Read-only” option. Also, make sure you have administrator permissions on your C: drive. I hope this helps.

Do you have a guide to adding user defined tools to the library?
