Order selector jobs are the hardest to keep. It's performance based and if you're a good worker, they abuse you. Complain about it, then they fire you. I did it for 7 years. I knew i couldn't keep it up because i was getting older. Jobs like that you're supposed to get a bag and position yourself to eventually leave. That's worse than slave work but you'll get 1500 a week. 😂😅😂

Trust me I know I came from the streets of Chicago to Executive Managment in 2 Fortune 500 Companies the income from these companies has allowed me and my wife to create our own businesses. @PoppaDozier305 Glad you are taking the suggestion for consideration. Trust me, we want you to succeed even if their comments hurt. Anton is like me old school, but I’m much older than him. Seek out Anton for a counseling session.
Don’t be hard on yourself. Regroup and learn from this. Then try to get another job. You need to work, pay bills and live within your means. The criminal side is not glamorous. Go to church but seek God and read the Bible. Peace!

He didn't tell what the job was, what his skill level was, so we can''t really judge a lot. What stood out to me was his poor communication skills and substandard speech. I feel for him but if he didn't match his coworkers in temperament, class and status, that might explain why they looked down on him. He needs to get a government job with a union where you can't be fired and you're protected from BS from your boss. Government jobs are very secure, but he needs to be competent.

He said after 6 months he still doesn't have PTO so what type of job is this that you don't have benefits? They probably was treating him a certain way because they can get someone else to do the job in 2-5 days anyway.

There’s good workers and there are people good at kissing ass just to be lazy. That should be a video to talk about. Off topic but I notice a change in work environments in the recent years, it’s getting harder for black professionals to find work with decent pay particularly black men. Now I could be wrong but I’ve been noticing the decline of black men in the work environment which does make it uncomfortable when you work for companies and find yourself being a token or affirmative action hire. Even with all your experience and qualifications it’s still hard to be considered even when you do everything right that you possibly can. It’s like you must become self employed somehow to avoid the obstacles standing in your way, but not everyone can be there own boss and must work for people. I don’t know if it’s because we’re being replaced or places rather for you to be out in the fields.

This guy's thinking was no different from many others that I've met - not gonna be disrespected (none of his friends had the decency to tell him that feeling disrespected is a choice) and/or "that's not my job" (when, EVERYTHING, that can be done during a shift IS your job).
